hi and welcome to DH. Try downloading this: http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-...0303091523. zip The driver is from Toshiba's support site, but it's for your chipset and sound card, unless it refuses to install, it should do the trick.

Is his system with XP or Vista? If XP there are other ways without special software. OK, nvm, I just read it properly lol. I will PM you with a way to do it. It works some times so you might get lucky too.

It might sound a bit stupid, but did you check that the default sound device in the control panel is the right one? I had this issue once, and spent several hours before noticing that the wrong device was selected. Also, did you install the motherboard driver before installing the sound one? If not, maybe reinstall the sound driver. In any case, do you still have unrecognized devices in ...

looks like it doesn't work... :S... the syntax of the command is wrong and it returns back that "random" is not one of the available switches for the command, just "delete", "add" and "domain"... has anyone else tried this...?
