Re: Liquid cooling with...antifreeze! actually using anti-freeze is a horrible idea.. Anti-freeze "repells" the absorption of heat and cold. The only reason that it's used in vehicles is simply to increase the boiling point of the water and lower the freezing point of water. Most vehicles run in the range of 90-120*C.... water would boil out of the vehicle at those ranges, adding anti-freeze keeps it from boiling....

I'm posting this here so hope it's the right spot... I live an apartment building, 3rd floor. Summer time is brutal on my system. I'm looking for an easy to install, easy on the pocket book way to cool ...

Hey guys! I bought a new CPU cooler and overclocked to 3.75GHZ today. In comparison to clocking with my old Xigmatek HDT S1283 temps were down a bit I think comparatively a few degrees. So even though the S1283 has direct touch heatpipes it can't outperform the aerodynamic design and structured seashell shape of the Zalman CNPS9700.

I'm gonna jump the gun here and try something... as the reports floating around on the internet about win7's capability of allowing 2 very different video drivers to work in tendem have been very good. Plus the fact that i feel like trying something crazy... the problem is if i had 2x HD4870x2's in crossfire.... this leaves VERY little room for a 3rd card... it would have to be a single ...
