If even Microsoft's feeling the recession i think we're all a tad boned. Would it be an actual sacking or would it be classed as a "Layoff"? Then again i don't think there's much of a difference i've been sacked from 1 job and laid off from another.

yes definately by the time my son gets born on this planet. we might as well have processors in pico range. Intel might call them pentium 10 or cracker pracker It seems intel want to become as small as possible so that unsatisfied clients can't find them. ps- Mostly that would be around 2015 or after that.

I like the idea of a keyboard that wirelessly transmits the image to your TV. Nice living room experience. Though I'd have loved to have some chance of gaming on such a device, as I want in most PC's. It only transmits 720p, so there's no need for a high end graphics chip, but really, what would be better for a living room experience than a PC that allows the family to play WoW on the TV? (Not ...

the keys look reminiscent of the Apple notebooks, which is a good thing, really easy to type on, but wtf is with the location of the hinge & I/O ports - that's going to be a turn off for many people - the angle looks quite uncomfortable to work with imo...

The prices for the 5850 in Greece are at about 227 euros, but none is in stock.
For the 5870 I can find ( out of stock) at 300. (skroutz.gr)
For more expensive, I found the MSI VGA R5850-PM2D1G at 232 euros here http://www.my-shop.gr/eshop/catalog/...ducts_id=30 392
It looks like it is very difficult to find one even here. (supply is rarely a problem here, only price is)

What ??, nVidia has finally moved to DX10.1 "not even DX11" , it is a shame , I know there in no huge differences between 10.0 and 10.1 but it is considered more of technology achievements , also I think this is the first GDDR5 nvidia GPU.
They should however let these mainstream for a while and make DX11 high-end cards ASAP to compete with ATi.
