oh sorry, they seem to have removed the mobility cards - no idea why. earlier there were all the ati cards listed, from the newest ones, over the mobility, firegl cards etc. back to the rage and the other legacy ones. obviously now only those supported by the 9.6 drivers are listed.. if it says 9552 you can trust it.

I can't find id number for Mobility Radeon 4330! Could I use some other? Would it cause any issues? EDIT: I run this program and it tells its 0x9552. Ill use 9552 and see what happens.

Update: Computer froze up again two days ago with the original drivers posted on Gateway's website. Windows was setup up for turning off the hard disk after 20 minutes, so that might have been the problem.

Yep, same here, some input for such a new laptop would be really appreciated, as Asus are silent on this one. So many people seem to be buying this powerful laptop and are stuck with stock drivers, no updates, no nothing. For people that haven't seen this, a very helpful guy called "ViciousXUSMC" on the notebookreview forums has come up with a guide for applying the "9-4_vista64_win7_64_dd.exe" drivers....

My Notebook is Aspire 8935G Intel Core 2 Quad Processor. I have Install XP PRO. and get the Drivers on ACER (Euro) Site ! This one VGA_ATI_8.601.0.0_XPx86_A !!! but when I Restart after the Install. ,its only black. Sound is OK, No Welcome Screen,just the Sound ! I dont know whats CCC or ... I just need the Driver for my Ati Radeon HD 4670 1GB ! PLS Help

OS: Windows 7 64bit Build 7201 Mobility Radeon x2300 I can install 9.3 with mod tool, no problems at all. If I try modtool + 9.4 - 9.6, CCC is installed but the driver has a (!) and does not work. The last version that works for me is: 8.561.0.0 Is there a way to install 9.6? The new drivers are with better performance.

ok, followed instructions as per the MM write up, however my driver will not update to the 9.6 version. I am using an Asus F3ka series laptop with windows vista 32 bit, 4 gb ram, 160 hd, and radeon mobility 2600 hd dedicated graphics. Current version of the drivers is 8.401.0.0 from 7/27/2007. Any others out there that can offer assistance would be gladly appreciated... Thanks in ...

I see the V5600 is supported, is the V5700 going to be added soon? It's standard on Lenovo model W500, but right now the provided drivers aren't working quite right (See this thread Help W500 graphics card question - W Series ThinkPads - lenovo community ). But besides all that, I'd prefer using these instead of OEM supplied drivers ;-) thanks,

This looks like an amazing tool to fix what appears to be (after countless hours googgling a solution) a common problem. brief overview: Got the laptop loaded with vista, vista wouldnt run my djprograms such as traktor, virtualdj or pcdj dex very well. Just got a Gateway MD7826u laptop with an ATI Mobility 3650 and was disappointed to find out neither of them are releasing updated versions of the drivers. Last update was 07/2008! Hi, Any chance to get this Card inside my Notebook supported soon? I know, currently it is not supported ... is anyone working on that? In other forms all over the net ... people are patching the BIOS of second VGA card to get initial support ... but this can't be the answer in my eyes.

I downloaded the latest desktop driver from the nvidia site and the modder ,extracted the driver and thried to modify it but the modder tells me that cannot find the inf file .... my card is GO 6400 ... can I get some help pls ?
