Not sure if this is related to this driver release, or to an error setting up the driver on my end, but here's the issue: I have to set surrounder+ to 5.1 (copy or on, off won't work) to get the full spectrum of sound on my 2.1 speaker system and headphones. (headphone in center/subwoofer jack, 2.1 speakers in rear speakers jack, output to tv speakers in front speaker jack. I switch the output to tv or 2.1 speakers depending on what...

That's because by default the DSP isn't configured correctly. I had to use 5.1 profile as well to have sound working from back channels until I made 2.1 work by properly connecting the DSP stuff.

Simple problem: It acts like the driver is not recieving any sound activity on any channel but AC97/Mic The driver is starting correctly, UAC is off, and kxmixer is set to Vista SP2 (Tried SP1 and vanilla too) compatibilty. Unlike Vista x64, which functionally works but will not load configs, this will load saved configs just fine. The issue is easily reproducable for me:...

Hi all, hi developers. When using Windows 7 Beta 7000 with SB Live 5.1 sound card, I got strange machine-gun' like hindrances... very strange ones... But when detach one 1gb RAM module, I got perfect 5.1-surround sound, but 3 Gb, again, causes those sound troubles.. Use 3 Gb of Patriot' single-gigabyte RAM modules, kx-drivers v.3538.... And if curse... kx mixer ...

I've noticed that constant beeping went away (so far) when I turned off Audigy's Game Port in Device Manager. Interesting that not only playback but also recording is affected by this "beeping" bug. For ex. trying to record from line-in when beeping occurs - there is no sound in the output files, even no beeps just silence. IMO this issue is not related to the graphic card, because I switched ...

Hey. "specs": Old SB Live! card (CT4760) Stereo Headphones Win XP SP3 So, with 3545 i get what sounds like the audio for a "front" set of speakers in my right ear, and the "back" in my left. I've only noticed this in games(BF Heroes, WoW). All other audio works fine. I've managed to temporarily fix this in WoW by turning down all audio-options to their bare minimum. In Multimedia ...

Hey. My Soundcard don't work with Vista anymore since i have upgraded my PC from 1GB to 3GB Ram My Receiver gives crackling instead of a normal sound. I have installed the actual 3545b Beta driver but it is not getting better. SPDIF and Analog Output dont work. I have tried a SB0220 Soundcard and my favorite CT4620 Soundcard. I use Vista Business 32bit. If you need more infos, just ask ...

I had my CT4780 card working perfectly with Vista SP1 using kx 5.10.0.3541. Now all of a sudden, seemingly for no reason, I get only a pulsating whine or growl whenever a sound should be played. I'm uninstalled and reinstalled the kx software and the driver from Device Mangager. I've tried different versions of kx, and I've even tried moving the card to another PCI slot. Any suggestions??
