a2 zs notebook issues - Page 4

In spite of all tricks (disabling speed step and using RMClockHLT) my a2zsnb still produses a little noize (clicks) after a sample (single midi note) stops playing. I solve the problem just by playing a looped silent sample in background during performance... So the system "thinks" that the pcmcia card is doing something and doesn't detach it from the bus and thus there're no clicks :-)

I managed to get kxasio registered. After -running regsvr32 kxasio.dll as asmin -running kxmixer as admin once asio panel is finally accesible from tray menu. The problem is, no 32bit ASIO hosts see kxASIO. I tested it with Ableton Live 8, Foobar ASIO playback, and a 64 bit demo of Pianoteq. of the three only 64 bit Pianoteq can see kxASIO ( selecting it as output freezes Pianoteq nonetheless. ) Ok. Now I understand 64 bit kxASIO only supports...

I have recently installed Windows 7 64-bit and am experiencing some serious system slowdown while playing games using the KX 3550 drivers with an Audigy MP3+ card (SB0090M). However, it seems I am able to avoid this slowdown -- temporarily -- by first installing the Windows-default Creative driver, then switching to the KX driver. However, rebooting again after the KX driver has been installed brings the problem right back. Specifically, it...

I think there's a workaround discussed in this thread..... 3550 x64 probs with win7 Post number #24 [QUOTE=weenerdog;1306719] the asio control panel still wont be accessible from the kx settings menu, but is accessible from within your 64bit host (confirmed working with reaper v3.13x64)

Start/stop clicks in Audigy 2 ZS Notebook. How to avoid?
Audigy 2 ZS Notebook, all versions of KX (incl.3550).
On playback start there is a click. And on playback stop there is a click too. It applies to any source of sound: midi, wave, or just a sf-sample played by midi-keyboard.
Is there a solution to avoid clicks?

As I said in this thread, I do not know if the reason why those options are blank in kxmixer is due to a bug, or if it is because those options are not currently supported on that OS, but, all of those settings can be changed in kX Console (assuming that they are in fact supported, and that the bug (if it is a bug) is only with the GUI).
To enable AC3 Passthru, type the following in kX ...

I do not know if it will work for you, but you can try enabling Direct SPDIF Recording using kX Console:
shw 12 x
Where 'x' is:
0: OFF
1: SPDIFA
2: SPDIFB
3: SPDIFC
4: i2sa
5: i2sb
6: i2sc
e.g.
To enable Direct SPDIF Recording from Coaxial (with my card):

BUMP, no replies and it's been over a month. Is noone noticing these things?
Right, so me and a friend (mostly the friend) work on a soundfont project to get the old FM synth sound you used to get in computers and gaming consoles from like 10+ years ago. It pushes the limits of soundfont by using small simple looped waveforms, things like volume, modulation, and filter envelopes, and in the ...

Well I am getting a loud beep as well but I kinda have pin pointed it to when I use Sonar 6 and go into record mode with my mic, I get the beep if I try to turn off record mode.
I dont think its a ATI issue cause im using a nVidia Card. I dont have this issue with WMD either just ASIO, So I figure its from some loop feedback thing or echo. I have tried every thing to get rid of the beep and ...
