DSP help for Recording DJ Setup...
Published (2009-10-28 17:33:00)
What I want to be able to do is to Configure the DSP so that I can record an ASIO input Src 4 is the Mic input Src 2 is the Main (speaker output) (2/3) Src 5 is the Headphone Monitor signal (4/5) I have Src 2 running out into an external line mixer -> Speakers I have Src 5 assigned to my headphones (for monitoring) I'm using the proFX plugin so ASIO 0/1 are front L/R and Asio 2/3 rear L/R are signals straight to the speakers....

OK, I think I understand... I guess you renamed ProFx:kXlt to Asio? For ASIO input, you need to load (and connect your source signal to) the ProFx:ASIO plugin.

Sorry but I am not following your setup, can you explain it in more detail? In your DAW, you have 2/3 and 4/5 as outputs and 14/15 as input. In the DSP, you have 3 SRC plugins, but only one of them shows what it is set to (and nothing is labeled in MX8). Where is your MIC signal in that config (I can only guess that it is SRC [4], and your MIC is connected to the MIC2 input?)? You do not ...

Very confusing.. Sb0060 is supported (i had that one) By Kx. In general ,using 2 cards is messy ,using 2 cards and 2 differnt drivers maybe even more. _________________ When i tried to use a creamware+a creative together,i got results but always had to deal with little problems. _______ I dont know if sb0680 is officially supported. In that case you should try just one driver maybe...

For MME recording: Unmute the Line2/Mic2 slider on the Recording page of kxmixer and adjust the level as desired. For ASIO Recording: Unmute the Line2/Mic2 slider on the Ins and Outs page of kxmixer and adjust the level as desired. Connect the Line2/Mic2 pins of prolog (in the DSP), to the the ASIO pins on epilog that you want to use for recording (I would start with ASIO 4/5, as ASIO 1/2 ...

The bottom 16 pins of epilog are the ASIO inputs for your software. i.e. ASIO 0 on epilog is kX In 0 ASIO 1 on epilog is kX In 1 ASIO 2 on epilog is kX In 2 ... Your other option (if you are not using epilog) is to use the ProFX:ASIO plugin, but if you have a 10k2 card, make sure that you are using the latest version of ProFX and not the bundled version. If you have a 5.1 model (10k1), ...

"kxASIO.dll 32bit" in 64bit OS? hi guys, i have a SBlive! 5.1 on both 64bit OS win7 and XP, and the kx drivers (5, 10, 00, 3550). i'm using Live! with ASIO4ALL, and as probably all of you know this program can't read the 64bit kx ASIO driver.. so i wonder if is there any way to run/register the 32bit kx ASIO on my 64bit OS until Live! ...

well, there's nothing you can do except moving to a 32-bit Windows or waiting for a 64-bit version of Ableton Live.

I don't see how this is kX related. Anyway; Your "Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook ExpressCard" doesn't come with a native ASIO driver (first bummer), asio4all doesn't work with the card (second bummer) and kX Project doesn't support it either (third bummer).
