Gotta admit that the black is growing on me... Plus it would save the money on the re-spray so that I can buy more tyres!! cheers for all of the comments guys, it's amazing how much just putting a set of wheels under the arches can motivate you. I guess it starts to look like a car again rather than just a load of metal on the ramp!

on the way back from southampton i was thinkin........HO! NO! What have i done ,so i phoned me mate Dave and asked if he had any 34 bits,and guess what? by the time i go to his house ,on the way back,i had an R34 GTR boot lid,Gtt rear bumper,Gtt side skirts,R34 UK front bumper with vents,two head lights,and an R34 GTR Sterring colum.Result! BIG THANKS DAVE

You're cutting up a perfectly good Escort Cosworth to stick an old Nissan engine into it and make it RWD? Seems like a waste of a really good car to me. Fair play if you've got lots of fabrication skills and stuff, and it may well turn out to be a good drift car but... an Escort Cosworth? this makes me feel quite sad

Anti-invisibility paintwork did its job
Was a fun day apart from an intermittent top end rattle. Booking another one, either 27th Aug or 10th Sept or both! Need to get the welded diff in there, as the LSDs ok at higher speed but when you come to do a sharper turn and drop the speed it goes open and you end up spinning ...

this will be a fairly slow build and will keep it updated as much as possible,
here goes i brought this s13 last week, pretty clean example will gradually get everything sorted over time.

And when i cracked open the sump..... look what i found!!!
The remains of a bearing!!
This is the wear on yhe crank, brought it to engine-re to get it checked ot. Too much gone of the bearing journal so i had to get a new crank......oh the joys of i!!
