She will be beautiful, Tracy - I promise Good food, daily brushing and knowing they are loved - makes so much difference. I knew nothing about persians! - I am used to ferally cats - 'normal' domestic cats! - 'breed' cats have been alien to me Stroking makes the most difference! My hands are like sandpaper - but a good cuddle/stroke definatly makes the difference . I adore the nature of persians....

I know what you mean about the cuddling. Only now, after over a week, is Bella really appreciative of a cuddle. Until now she's been too busy bustling about and our time together has been grooming, grooming, grooming. But now she comes just for a cuddle. And she's sooooo sweet! Persians are just lovely things Just, as you say, a bit knotty!! ETA... I find myself more and more calling her Ella rather than...

Sarah I KNOW how much you care, how when a cats in NEED you jump in and help, cry the tears when it can`t be helped and YES you and me both are guilty of opening our doors, hearts and helping 1st, asking questions later, its because we are animal lovers 1st and foremost. You know what, it makes us who we are I can never thank you enough for WILL, for saying YES and letting him go with love and dignity and for PP being the one to end...

I started with Geckos, I now have a few I just adore them. I think your either a Lizard person or a snake person, I'm def a Lizard person. Yes feeding insects can put some people off. Geckos will eat Mealworms as there main diet, also crickets and locus added to that. Feeding tongs are wonderful things I will have a look tomorrow and see if I can find you a decent care sheet online for them.

I got my birdies off freecycle, not rescues per se but not buying them from a pet shop either. The woman had bought them for her 4 year old grand son and he wasn't interested, you couldn't mek it up could yer?
