QUOTE(watson748 @ Nov 11 2009, 01:07 PM) After seeing the Johanneson fight I would bet that Mitchell is able to take at the very least a few direct hits without any problems. He is the more talented boxer and depending on how durable Prescott is, Mitchell should win. You seriously have to look at Warrens relationship with Khan now. It is showing all he signs off cooling down. Rumours of Khan setting up his own promotional company and...

QUOTE(BoxingFan @ Nov 24 2009, 06:48 PM) Do you mean does a fight with Khan offer Hatton anything? If Hatton fought Khan, he'd be fighting a guy who is a big name in this country, a fight that would sell out a big arena and bring in big money. He gets a fight against a guy who hasn't reached his level of experience, especially against top guys. And he gets a guy who brings a title. What he doesn't get is somebody who...

QUOTE(champ4ever @ Nov 24 2009, 07:44 PM) calzaghe staying with warren for so long is what actually harmed his career. what calzaghe did later in his career is what he should of done a few years before instead of cashing in on hometown fights all the time. Agreed. Calzaghe's 0 would look a whole lot more impressive if he'd left Warren earlier in his career and still go it.

Kessler Vs Ward
Published (2009-11-22 21:24:00)
QUOTE(ROCKYMARSHMELLOW @ Nov 20 2009, 08:41 PM) Well you have to step up sometime don't ya... It's a tough fight and this is the biggest and toughest fight of his career, but that's what the super 6 is all about ain't it. Wards good man, tricky little speedster. And as a 36 year old Calzaghe proved against Kessler, speed does cause him problems. ...

Warren's just got sour grapes since his former two biggest fighters left him just before they made their biggest pay days. Although Hatton is abit delusional when he says he had any kind of edge of Manny in that fight. Not surprised though. Boxers always have to have some kind justification to keep going after they lose, or have someone or something to blame to boost their confidence....

much as id like to see it happen, frank is still the best option for fighters like amir - british, obvious skill, obvious weakness, in need of carefull match making. reckon khan could be in for a bit of a shock if he ends up signing for an american promoter. respect to amir if he makes this move.

of course amir won't rule hatton out, he wants to see what hatton is like with a comeback fight before deciding to fight him. hatton now is in a position where the hyenas are closing in ready to pounce on what they regard as an easy meal with a lot of flesh .

B-hop better sit his ass DOWN! Trying to be like Roy, Roy did it in his prime and B-hop is to old to make that jump now. His defense want keep some of those heavyweight punches from landing and when they do good night B-hop!

ward is very quick, but one thing that works against ward is he should of been alot more active, and now he's jumping way up in class. ward will probably end up getting bullied in there and stopped IMO later in the fight. like i said he's fast, but his defense has gaps. should of been managed better. i don't understand why a prospect wasn't active, and now finds himself in a position that...
