Hatton Wants Cotto If He Wins...
Published (2009-11-14 22:01:00)
The thing is, whats the point? He totally dominated the 140 division, then won a world title at 147, then fought the 2 best fighters on the planet and lost. Anyone else is just a step down and wouldn't mean anything or be worth anything on his resume. The guy is worth probably $70 million and has nothing else to prove and it could be dangerous for him. He probably weighs over 200lbs now and would yet again have to put his body...

QUOTE(champ4ever @ Nov 12 2009, 07:41 AM) it's boxing mate, shit happens. some of the greatest fighters have been knocked out early. But it is his fault it lasted that long because he fought a real :toilet: fight, I suppose he had a lot going through his head, he had that little fallout with FMS, i got the feeling by the look on his face when they entered the ring that he lost respect for FMS and wasn't concerned if he won...

Cotto Vs Paquiao

i think its Pac's fight, speed and angles will give cotto fits. I think Cotto has weight problems. he's looked spent after 10 rounds in his last couple of fights and Pac is not only fast with both his hands and feet but can apply pressure while keeping on the move,by this I mean he can have a fighter scared to commit, he reminds me of Pryor in that respect. he can turn from boxer to puncher effortlessly and leaves you no room for...

QUOTE(watson748 @ Nov 11 2009, 01:49 PM) Nah, I don't believe for a second thats how it works. Each promoter gets a % of a Hayemaker's earnings and for that they help cover all the various promotional stuff in around the world. If Haye/Klit were to happen they would all benefit financially and it would insane for any of them to scupper the deal. The only stumbling block that may arise is when it comes to the country or city...

A couple of years ago, when both were at 140 this could've been a great fight. Now, Hatton wouldn't stand a chance. I doubt the fight happens unless Hatton gets a win or two himself anyway.

I just thought that I would see what the UK side of the forum thinks of this fight and what the out come may be. IMO I think there is one main governing factor here and that is if Pac can take Cotto's power. If he can then he will possibly KO Cotto late but more likely UD him due to his speed and better footwork. If he tastes Cotto's power and reacts badly then he fights in survival mode ...

DAVID HAYE'S dream £20million showdown with one of the Klitschko brothers could be scuppered - by his own promotion teams. Vitali and Wladimir's manager Bernd Bonte wants Britain's new world heavyweight champ Haye to fight one of the Ukrainians next year. But Bonte says Haye's agreement with three promoters - Golden Boy, Sauerland Events and Don King - could prove to be a big stumbling ...

just one fight of david haye's career was not entertaining and the guy is getting criticised. yeah the fight wasn't entertaining, but so what, he had to fight a guy so big, which is very difficult. hopefully haye-ruiz will be more entertaining in the sense haye blows ruiz apart. appaarntly 8.4 million tuned in to watch haye vs valuev in germany, not too bad if you ask me, and more will ...

QUOTE(cantzon@yahoo.com @ Oct 21 2009, 08:34 AM) Dirrell clearly won the fight. He landed twice as many punches and he landed the harder punches. The Italian judge had some nerve giving Froch the eleventh round when Froch was staggered and almost taken out. Froch only landed punches on the back of the head and was dirty the entire fight. The ref was also atrocious....

QUOTE(upstepper @ Nov 8 2009, 03:14 PM) Firstly, Haye won the fight on scoring punches, about 6 of them over 12 rounds, Valuev won on agression with about 5 scoring jabs. You never get a points decision in Germany yet Haye won, what the hell happened? The answer for me rests in the wallet of the crazy guy at ringside with a handful of flags, an aging flat-top, a crazy grin and the ability ...
