Hi sledge and Wow it looks like you have quite a few questions! And Mel has already done a good job getting you some help. You might want to split up your questions and ask in a different section of the forum (like ask about food in the nutrition section, walking in the exercise, etc) as the posts there will be more likely to be read and get more answers.

I wholeheartedly agree with Borzoi Mad. I rescued a small dog from the same circumstances...discarded when the baby came. He is the most adorable little guy and my luck that he came into my life. PLEASE give them a bit more time. I'm sure it will all work out.

Hi, Just like to introduce myself! Im Graham from Yorkshire, got our new baby 13 weeks ago, shes now a 20 week old growing (quickly) Irish Setter. Shes gorgeous but very greedy, always nipping and has just started to (wait for it).....eat her own and other dogs poo! Nice . Hope to get pics on as soon as I can work out how to do it. Any other Irish owners out there? Ta

Just signed up and thought id say hi, i don't get my dog until Friday but figured id join now anyways. I've bought a juvenile Miniature Schnauzer bitch, 8 months old. She's salt and pepper and a real character! Can't wait to get her home and start training and grooming! Anyway, hope you're all enjoying 2009 so far and all the best, Craig.

hi im gaz, i have just started looking after a young ish rottwiler, have growen up around them with my dads mates who had 3 of them, i have take on my best freinds dog as he cant walk it or anything due to having only 1 leg and being on crutches, his grand perants are a bit to old for the dog aswell so i offered it a good home, the only problem is though, i dont know how to look after it proply, ...
