Post # 5 The "double" u joint that connects the front driveshaft to the transfer case has a lube point in the center of it and it is recommended (sticker on the rail right under the hood on the front of the engine compartment) to grease it at every oil change. It is a real PITA to get to, it has to be facing the perfect angle and you have to have one of those high pressure needle tips to get anything into it, I found it is...

Post # 41 Budman' Thanks for the post, You typed "As for the Bio diesel, the 2% would be nice but I dont think we get it here (they would be bragging about it if we had it). Our state hwy dept has a 20% bio mandate for all their trucks. The guys at the injector & pump shop said they "were all covered up" doing state pumps as the bio diesel gums stuff up. They recommend not using 20% and the MODOT guys...

And the debate begins. My next truck, sometime after tax time will be a 6speed manual. I am a firm believer that a diesel motor backed by a manual tranny and manual transfer case is the prime set up for a lifetime of use. I like the luxury and ease of an auto, but i miss rowing through the gears. Not to mention, i ...

I bought it for the price!
Bought it for bang for buck.

Don't you love the young punks? My daughter had a couple of her friends over with their tuner cars last summer. One punk in an SRT-4 was chirping about how fast his car was. None of them knew what was out in the garage. I aked him if he wanted to put a little wager up and we would take it out front of the house (I live...

Both of these allow you to delete the DPF using anything from a dpf-delete pipe to a full turbo back replacement exhaust. Another thing that you will want to do is an EGR/Cooler delete to get some mileage back and stop ...
