i wouldn't say your block is done or that it would effect performance. another possiblity is that because the water pump cavity is behind that opening, it was cut in hopes that it would pull the water out from around the cylinders and keep it moving. just my thoughts. i know it's not supposed to be there cuz mine didn't have a hole there.

yeah Pape I think it's partly just the way these specific tires are made but I still think the 8" wide wheel will help a lot. And NO SPRK unlike Chris' truck mine look noticeably wider, and MUCH better than stock.

05 radio in a 93
Published (2009-11-10 14:11:00)
Actually, I know many of you are die hard dodge fans, but the 2002 and older radios suck. The CD players are real picky about cds, and the tape players like to eat tapes. I bought an aftermarket for my truck. All said and done it was like $160 for a pretty good radio. It will read CDs as well as MP3 CDs (fit hundreds of songs on one ) It will read anything i put in it, and if you want to upgrade your system, you can plug it into an amp, or run...

another guy on here has done it. he didn't reveal the secret to me though . jim lane knows it can be accomplished with only 2 relays. i can recall im saying something about a diode. how 'bout a write-up for the sticky?? i'd like to do it with one less relay also.

Hey, I cant help you with your tranny issue as I dont have my truck yet!
But I'm hoping you can help me. I found a 1992 2500 LE 4X4 Cummins, really clean, notr rust or dents, 199K miles, automatic for $6500. Is this a good price? Are there any things I should look for or inspect for that could affect my decision to buy the vehicle? This is a 2 owner truck. Thanks

The biggest thing I can say... don't skimp on the pump. You don't need
studs for water injection, and that's really all you need. The meth will
add a little hp, and increase timing, but I personally believe that the
straight water is better.

SJ springs suck. They do sag after a little while. For a little more $$$
you can get custom springs made that will not fatigue after a year of
normal use and offer a better ride then any off the shelf kit. Or for under
$300 bucks you can do the RCC lift. Do a search on here and you'll find it.
I've mentioned it a few times. I'll be doing a write up on mine here
probably next week. It's all built....

even in stock form you really should get an upgrade on the converter and a transgo shift kit. That said, I'm running the mods in my sig with the power in my sig with no real problems yet. (knock on wood) I sure can feel a LOT of power being sapped from the wheels from the tranny though. It's probably the converter, but anyways... I don't suggest running the stock tranny with much more than stock ...

I've got HID's and will never go back. Never had a problem, and no need for relays or even upgrades on wires, they draw very low amps and have their own moduals/power supplies. The bulbs are also life time warrenty!

I'd suspect the sending unit before condemning the water pump.
WHat exactly are you seeing and having an issue with? If the needle swings between 2 lines on the gauge, it's the thermostat- many aftermarket ones will do that if the jiggle pins arent oriented at the 12 and 6 positions.

perhaps try your lift pump, it could be bad. another possibility could be that the fuel shut off solenoid has trash stuck in the seat and is thus reducing fuel flow. it can be easily removed to check. as for your fuel screw leaking, the best (rather the only) way to repair that leak is to simply replace the seal packing on it. using any kind of sealant is a bad idea , being that the injection ...

I have a few questions about position of the throttle in relation to the movement of the fuel pin and the adjustment of the Starwheel.
For about the last 6 months the truck seems like it does not have as much power as it used to, also sometimes it will smoke heavily out of the stop light and other times I will only have a light haze so it has been getting inconsistent so I was thinking that ...

When and if I ever do a body off paint job I plan to lineX or Rhino liner the chassis. But things up here are a little different, we have HEAVY salting on the roads to deal with. I've heard of guys in our area doing it with good success so yeah, if I get the chance, I'll be going that route.
As for the chassis paint, I really can't give input I don't know a lot about it.
