will a -25 offset wheel work?
Published (2009-11-21 12:56:00)
I thought the offset # was in milimetres? If so -25 offset means the offset is about 1 inch. As I understand it, those rims would probably stick out from the truck or make the tread stick out giving it a wider stance. I don't know if that's what you're looking for but just so you know. So long as they'd clear the calipers and have a center hole that's big enough I can't see why they wouldn't work.

Drewsta, that truck is sick. About the Alcan, they sound like a good way to go. I know settling occurs on lifting stuff, I have just heard a few horror stories on some of the skyjacker lifts, but then a bunch of guys love em'. I also call Deaver springs, and they build them too. The spring guy there said they only do up to 4" on the CTD....4" or 6", gotta pick a way to go.

First... Here should be the diagram of the relays your using. Second... So i'm clear, you want extra signal lights in the day time? Then rely on the factory lights when its dark. I may suggest one 5 prong relay...You can see the 3 different setups. I think a simple solution may be to switch the grounds when you turn on the headlights. Doing so with a simple 4 prong relay ...

12 valve is a 12 valve. The only thing you'll run into is, you're basically gonna have to do a p-pump conversion on the 1st gen block. Timing housing swap and camshaft removal.

you have a torqueflite 727 transmission. The converter drains it fluid back into the pan when the truck sits over night. The best and easiest thing to do is just put it in neutral for a few seconds when you just start it then it will pump the converter full.

The best systems bleed a little propane into the intake air only when the turbo is making boost. Simpler systems meter the propane in any time you are on the accelerator. Either works OK as long as you do not get carried away. The system should never let the amount of propane in the intake air exceed the lower limit of flammability, that way the engine cannot knock on the propane. As ...

I've got HID's and will never go back. Never had a problem, and no need for relays or even upgrades on wires, they draw very low amps and have their own moduals/power supplies. The bulbs are also life time warrenty!

The Non IC truck can have more HP for allot cheaper then the IC trucks. The factory injectors in a Non IC truck are larger then the IC trucks and only slightly smaller then the Stock Non IC injector and the non IC injectors can support 300+ hp with no issues. Not to mention the holes are 9mm for the non IC as apposed to the IC 7mm and the heads on the Non IC were prone to cracking between the ...

Better save lots of money up. It aint all that cheap to go threw a cummins - even if ya just ring it and toss a set of rod bearings in it. I got some money wrapped up in mine and I didnt do anything to the pump or the injectors - if resetting pop pressures counts. Probally be better off if ya just do the topend and the trans. Pull the bottom end out if ya hurt it, then rebuild it. You ...
