Staggered wheel/tire question?
Published (2010-01-03 20:45:00)
The wheels i'm looking at come in 22x8.5 and 22x9.5. I'm going to run the 22x8.5 up from and the 22x9.5 in the rear. If i run 265/35/22 tires all around, would my car look staggered? Or should i put 285/30/22 tires on the rear? That way i know it will look staggered.

Question about viper wheels?
Published (2010-01-02 00:26:00)
mine were painted, I have had them for 7 months and so far have had no chipping or fading. I do hear you should not drive through gravel too often as that can cause chipping, but I think that is pretty obvious

Thanks FuelMJ! I thought they were 20x9 but I must be wrong. Just to confirm, there will be no rubbing even with the wife and teenage kids in the car with 275 40 20"s? Thank again!

I also have the Blizzaks on my Daytona and I found them to be a very respectable tire in slush, snow of all types and they even work pretty decently on ice. The downside is they do create alittle more noise than the stock Goodyear RS/A's and they do not handle spirited driving on dry roads very well.

Sorry that happened. My grandparents got the wheels stolen off an old suburban of theirs. Stock, POS wheels. Left the car on cinder blocks. You did make it really easy to steal your wheels by parking there, though. Nobody would be able to see them take your wheels.

it depends a lot on your car too. Are you a v6 or 8? Would i personally put 22's on a v6 with stock brakes, no absolutely not. Your brakes would be underpowered and your gas mileage would plumet lower then a v8's. On the wheel choice i'd pick the on in the middle had it been me. i can already think of people that have the other ones so its nice to get something unique especially if your doing ...

I got gorilla wheel locks through amazon. They are pretty reputable from what I hear, but I can't say anyone has tried to steal them yet.
