those are the exact reason si want to do things myself. so i know what is goin in my car and it is goin to be done right. I was almost goin to do what you did by takin it in to have it broke loose. But thanks to the guys on here i finally got it done. Ive avoided having other people doin things to my car because of this. Then because they f your stuff up and you go back to them they still expect you to pay them like they did something good....

the caliber is ugly, unsafe, even less reliable than many of chryslers vehicles, and a 4 banger. Even if it is faster... why?

You could find the tightest fitting box end wrench that you have and then use a rubber mallet to tap the arm of the wrench to persuade it loose. You could find the appropriate size socket and use a long T handle to give you more leverage.

Doesn't sound normal. Did you use the DiabloSport canned tunes? Did you mess around with the timing at all? Do you have a new tank of gas? Was it from the same place? Just trying to gather some info that might be useful

Sorry this happened man, I had the same anger when I found a nail lodged into the sidwall of one of my brand new nittos. I dont know if some one put it there which would make me sick, or it was bad luck but either way not a good a feeling.
