If your car has the ES badge on the trunk or grey trim on the bottom then its an ES. If you look at my cars in my sig the left is a base trep and the right is an ES

I dont think HID's are a good idea at all for a car using combo hi/low beam bulbs, all you will end up doing is blinding other drivers

I have noticed that the pinouts for the individual wires are differen't, atleast acording to the autozone website for the PCM... So unless acording to these pinouts, if you didn't rewire the harness it shouldn't work... It may let the engine run, but not right... Not sure honestly, this is something I would like to try... lol 3.5 PCM 3.3 PCM

I'm in the process of doing a lot of work to the intrepid hoping i can get it road worthy for a few hundred again because she's been retired for a year now since buying the Impala. One issue is that one of the posts of the drivers seat has broken (as I've said before, the previous owner had a bad back and "fell" into the seat one too many times) and I want to replace it, but I was wondering...

Im Thinking about putting a short ram in my car, but do you think that will be a stupid idea since its real hot in the engine bay and will just be sucking in hot air reducing power? Or is there some sort of heat shield i can get for a short ram. Thanks guys

I've always wondered if the 3.3L would run using a 3.5L PCM since they are the only ones that come without the speed governor. Looking at the wiring schematics it would seem that it will since two computers use basically the same sensors to control the engines. I recently found an unlimited PCM for sale so that got my brain going. Before I bought the PCM I decided to do a test using a standard 3...

First off I drive a 97' Intrepid ES 3.5L I had the muffler removed today and a pipe welded to my resonator (boxy exhaust tip). It is louder, yes, but not as loud as I was hoping for. What can I do to make it louder, but not ARREST ME loud? Someone suggested removing the resonator, and welding a flowmaster to it.. Would this work???

Yeah, that would take lots of talent in the electrical field, and if you do that, I'd give you $50 and the parts to do it!

anyone finding it difficult to find good performance tires for 225/60R16? The closest I found so far is Yokohama S.Drive 225/55R16. It would be nice to get a decent performance tire without having to upgrade rims. http://highperformancetire.com/produ...cat=374&pag e=1 $85 a piece isn't too bad. traction ratings are 300 / AA / A. So they're pretty soft, have high wet ...
