As a kid I loved crisp sandwiches. And cheddar cheese with strawberry jam.

I had a chip shop meat pie in a barm cake after someone started talking about them at work. Nice if a little hard to digest, didn't need much else to eat that day. When there wasn't much snackage around the house I used to have a small glass of oats with a pinch of sugar. A kind of granular chunch bar.

My dad has been backwards and forwards from the nursing home to hospitals since he first went into hospital in June with a bad heart and kidney failure. Lately he has been having visions of hands reaching for him and he thinks somebody is trying to kill him.. Anybody have any opinion as to what visions like that might mean?

My dad used to say 'stroll on' when I was a kid. I think he still uses the expression, but the meaning is more akin to 'You're havin' a laugh'. For example: "Dad, lets go up to Hamley's and get that toy they're advertising on the tele." "Stroll on son!"
