> This morning a crew of 4 divers made an attempt to dive the 'new' wreck, the Tuncurry. The trip out was wet, uncomfortable and rather slow. By the time we started to wonder if diving was prudent, we were 5nm from the site, so it was deciede to find it, check our marks and 'see what if'. As it turned out, the marks are spot on, and as the excitment of finding a mark grew, the seas appeared to flatten out (it started to...

Believe that when I see it. with the number of boats they have it will end up like a bus run. It's a pity another operator (or collective) couldn't match them for the volume they put through.. Or maybe they could if they got their collective heads together...

Sorry not from Melbourne, But I would assume any butcher will be able to get a full pig in for you. Failing that large pieces of different meats always go well and give a bit of variety. Maybe plan a hunting trip away and grab a feral pig for the spit, they don't go too bad, This time of year they should be well fed up on grain. As for the spit, make sure its a ...

This is an awesome opportunity for entry level divers to experience mild narcosis in the safety of a chamber. If you have the time, sign up for this one, its well worth the effort and many of you will be quite suprised how slow your reactions are.

You should check out AUSI. http://www.ausi.com.au/ works out so much cheaper for certifications and membership than SDI, SSI or PADI. After all its the instructor that makes the course not the agency. Cheers Chriso edit; added link

Later in the voyage she was sunk by an American sub. There were no Australian survivors Nov 11th 7.30pm, the history channel tells her story. Should be an interesting one

Neil, Call me a killjoy, but I take an opposite view with my diving, i.e. Take nothing; leave nothing. I am especially annoyed by such rubbish in Mt Gambier caves and sinkholes, and I have removed quite a few in my time. Now let the debate begin. Regards, Stan

NZ, You need to check out the Federal and State Shipwrecks Acts as anything found on the bottom over 70 years old may be prohibited to posess without an arrangement with your heritage branch, and trading may be illegal. (especially on a dive forum!) Alan

Give Chriso from divetub a call and ask him about the Zeagle Stiletto. A very very good recreational BCD which is only topped by the exceptional service he offers. www.divetub.com.au
