If somone did them I would buy them locally. Dave are you doing Manifolds again ? Cheers Chriso

I pretty sure I've seen them on the wall at Scuba doctor. Haven't got time...

Advice on SMBs and Reels

D Yep, planned to as it's not always a problem, my buddy's one has both and I like that one so will probably get the same (just can't remember which one it is at the moment...).

Advice on SMBs and Reels
Published (2010-01-02 08:30:00)
> Wow, lots of advice there, cheers for the help. Just a point of clarification, a reel is enclosed and a spool is the open type, is that correct? Also, I was unable to grab one of the instructors on board the boat last week to quiz him on the reel he had, but it appreared that the grip had a integrated locking feature and even the winding handle collapsed to make it quite streamlined when packed and stowed. Anyone have any ideas (despite...

If you definitely want a jacket style BCD, then the Seaquest Pro BCD is nicely made, comfortable and well-featured. http://www.calvintang.com/blog/2005/12/seaquest-pr o-qd-bcd-review Similar to Hollis ATS but have been arround for longer are the DiveRite Transpac or OMS IQ softpacks - both are fully adjustable, and can be used for sidemount, twin or single tanks,...

Hi Seadragon, You will have no problems with a 30mt delrin spool and double ender. I've seen the XS scuba SMB and they appear to be of good quality. Plenty of practice deploying and this will become a piece of cake. I use an old oxycheq 1.5 mt SMB in the ocean and a smaller one for shallow dives, cheers ATK...

If you need them... There is a vast choice of pockets you can slide onto the waist band of the BP&W. Personally I prefer to have them glued onto the thigh of the wettie and Drysuits. The price would be the pocket of your choice, a tube of Marine Grade Sikaflex from Bunnings and a couple of bricks. Much easier to get stuff in and out having pockets down lower than up...

I've not had it happen on a dive computer, but had a similar situation with one of my watches. In those cases, I've just gone to a jeweller, and they've had pins that would do the job. Maybe try them first.

try emailing leisurepro and explaining the problem. I was caught in the middle of a Titan Din Fitting recall about 15 months back that I had purchased from LP.
