Copy both files to external media (preferably 2 scources to be safe)

You would need to Configure Windows Live Mail on your Win7 Pc
Copy the Outlook Express Identity from your winxp system to Documents folder
of the win7 PC
In WLM import that Identity.
Configure Outlook on the win7 pc, test outlook, then in WLM export msgs to
Exchange (outlook)

When you connect to your Exchange mailbox you get the whole mailbox. If you
only want certain parameters, you need to clean up your Exchange mailbox
before connecting Outlook to it. Otherwise, you will need to archive your
local Outlook mailbox after you have connected to Exchange.
