Published (2009-01-05 09:30:00)
I have an old ASP COM+ component which works on all version of Windows platforms. But in WS2008 it hits the error - "ASP 0177: 80004002". All permission settings are in WS2008 (in different places). I duplicated all the WS2003 settings (works in WS2003) but cannot get it to work in WS2008. Anyone has suggestions how to get by the COM+ WS2008 security. Thanks, Fk

The new DC (single DC environment) is running 2003 Enterprise and I've already DC Promo'd and transferred the FSMO roles, installed DNS and since it's an AD integrated DNS just let it replicate. I've got everything transferred over but I can't log in if i take the old DC off the network,...
