Hi All, For some unbeknown reason i keep getting new internet explorer (7) windows appearing when i connect to the internet. I have a phone line plugged into my modem, so how do I get the pc to answer the phone or use the mic to talk? Doesn't XP come with a program to do that? Jack

My firewire card stopped working sometime ago. Since then I've tried replacing the card with a new one, changing the cable, and trying several different devices, all of which work on other computers. At times, I can't drag and drop desktop icons. i can drag them but when I try to drop them they go back to their original location. I don't have Auto Arrange or Align to Grid checked.
