No matter how I make a shortcut, including typing %windir%\System32\shutdown.exe etc in the location, I cannot type over the "none" in the shortcut keys box. That is the problem. I have tried to find out why the screen goes blank to no avail -- it is just a windows/laptop instability, I think.
