Unfortunately the command line switch does the same as the GUI, File - Open Window. It launches a new IE window, but under the same credentials as the original one. Creating a script with that command and running the script under different credentials doesn't seem to work either. The command is accepted, but nothing happens. I am sure you have heard this enough, but the javascript engine used in IE 6, 7 and 8 are just awful. I have some code that does AJAX to fill out a table on a screen and there are just 50 rows and 10 columns and on Firefox 3 and Chrome, it's takes less than a second to redraw yet on IE, it can take anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute....
