Hi, One of the pages in my web application, requires to display huge amount of data. Its a list of items, with drop down list as one of the column to select a value. Problem is the items displayed and page looks good in IE7.0 with proper drop-down lsit for all the items, even when tested with 10,000 number of items. However, with IE6.0 the page has problem even with 4000 items. Issue is that the drop down list is not proper and not...

Did a clean install of Windows XP Professional. Updated it with all the service packs and Microsoft has been sending down a steady stream of updates; one of which was Iexplorer 8. It won't open. I even tried a re-install of the program and it still doesn't open. I'm using the free version of AVG as my virus scanner. I disabled it and tried; still no luck. What could be the problem? .

Winxp(home), zone alarm, AVG AV, wireless card. Here's the situation. Replaced HD and have reloaded most programs we need.want. When I open IE 7.x the first screen of any site opens up fast. When we click on a link within 'most' web sites, it takes forever, if at all, to open. Haven't run into this but I'm assuming it's a setting but not sure where to look!!? Help please, L. .

Published (2009-11-23 15:17:00)
URL: http://ulsterliteracy.org/sandbox/ Conditional comments are used to expose unique HTML for IE 7 and below. As expected, non-IE browsers correctly ignore the conditional comments. IE6, IE7, and IE8 all DISPLAY the conditional comments on the page (and also all select the code bracketed by [if IE lte 7]). I've looked at this over and over and can't see what is wrong. I need another pair of eyes to look at the source...

IE version is...? Only if it'll open after clicking on File | Work offline (ALT+F+W). PS: Your headers (Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5512) tell us that your running outdated and much less secure versions of OE, IE, and WinXP! Check-in at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com & get that computer fully patched ASAP!...
