Once the home is no longer for sale via Edit Status. The home owner can post it for sale. Edit status is next to the price. Post for sale will be at the top of the tools on the left side.

You can claim your house and then update your home facts. They have a video here with more information. the change is immediate, but if the updated facts make a change in your Zestimate that takes longer to show up. I think I read that it can take up to 6 weeks. Hope it helps.

Thanksgiving is always the low price of the year for many items. Many stores mark staples down to their costs to get you in to the store for the "holiday" items. And of course they mark some of the holiday items down to their cost to get you in the store as well. And you usually can find frozen turkeys being given away if you spend enough money. So, yes, it is time to restock. Just know the...

Vivianne your argument implies that a person who pays 120k for a house is more likely to refer their agent than the same person who pays 130k for the same house. since it is always the agent who controls the flow of information, the odds that the buyer finds out anything is really very low. "If you are you suggesting here that for a measly $100 a real estate agent would risk their reputation, than you truly know nothing about real estate...

Trust not the spammers. Okay, now....have you ever rented property before? I encourage you to do some internet searches and find out if there is a real estate investors association or group near you. Look for a group that focuses on education (about local, state, and national laws; and about local RE investment conditions) and on mentoring. The group I belong to shares info about good deals they have found but are...

I believe his balance is $410,000 as stated in his thread. He does not need to go up in rate to 5%, he just needs the same offer without the $8300 slam in points, or better.

How long have you owned the home that is currently your primary residence. The tax credit doesn't count an accumulation of time in multiple homes. If you owned five homes in the last five years (one home a year) you wouldn't get the credit because you haven't lived in ONE home (which is also your current or most recent residence) for five of the last eight years.

No. The current tax credits are not retroactive. You missed out.

Lower Saucon and Hellertown have a very different character in housing Hellertown being in town with smaller lots and smaller houses than Lower Saucon with comparitively larger houses and lots. Regardless of that difference the market is down for both areas and after doing some research prices are actualy 6% higher in Hellertown than in Lower Saucon compared to 2 years ago. In LS 2 years ago in ...

This deal may not be worth it - it sounds like you have no one representing your best interests, including you, since everyone is working in the best interest of the seller.

If you were so concerned with this nugget being lost (even though it's been posted multiple times by multiple others on Zillow - yes, even the updated info), why not just create a new discussion thread for it in the first place? While your sarcasm duly noted, I wager it's safe to say I'm not the only Zillow member who'd rather not see redundant info repeated throughout the discussion boards.

You're wasting your time Zillender. They've already said that it's ok. Now whether that is sheer ignorance to allow this misleading practice or they just don't care is the only thing up for debate.

Thank you for the swift reply but, we do not own the house. We are still making house payments toward buying the house. The owner had previously given us leave to modify the house as we desired since we were buying the house and has left us with the responsibility of " upkeep" of the house and property.

I can't link it since it was just on the tv news, but they were talking about "real" unemployment (including under-employed and those who have given up completely) being upwards of 17% - yikes!

In New York State there is a mortgage tax as part of the closing costs. This is not even mentioned in zillow's numbers. In some counties this tax is more then 2% of the loan amount. Take a $500,000 mortgage and zillow is leaving out $10,000 in mortgage tax. That is no small error and I do not want to pay for any contact that calls me with the assumption they will be paying a minimum of $10,000 ...

MPL, You have got a lot of nerve posting this here when you in fact are doing virtually the same thing! In this quote, they are not sure what they want, and instead of looking at the situation, (25K in income) and offering a realistic and useful product, you offer a 10 year fixed for exactly the same reasons you are crying about. Do you believe a 10 year is what this person needs or did you ...

Unfortunately, you can't legitimately write an offer saying you will pay "x" more than the highest bid. If that were the case wouldn't every offer on properties be based on the willingness to pay "x" dollars more than the last bid? I do see a fair amount of (reo) properties in NJ that go into bidding wars (not so much for non distressed properties). 1.) keep looking i know it is hard to be ...
