Hi Paul - While you're logged on to your account, you may do these steps to change the status of your listing: 1. Go to your My Zillow then click Listings. 2. Click the address in question then look for the Cancel for-sale listing (left hand side of the home details page). 3. From there, you may choose Sold or No Longer For Sale. Let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.

Ice, This is not a good answer. My listings show up with ONLY the s.f of the land shown....NOT the acreage. I deal with mostly larger land listings so s.f measurements mean nothing. Take a look at 115 east rd. in stephentown. Could you tell me how many acres that is without a calculator? sorry it took so long to reply ...christmas and all ... thank u

I guess it depends on your definition of social media - do blogs count or just Twitter, FB, LI ? In 2009 I had 1 closing directly related to my Twitter accoun t. I had 2 closings from a specific blog post about Kahler Glen and I have 1 pending sale based on activity on Zillow. My Leavenworth real estate blog does bring me lots of business. It also helps me keep in touch and keep educating my clients. Both past and future clients rave about it...

Hey Rob - We take feeds from a number of sources like Postlets, Listhub, vFlyer, etc. So if your listings are with any of them, they will make it to the site. If John L Scott had a corporate or Broker feed in place, they would also make their way on Zillow. We'd love to get that in place! Another option is that you can manually post listings to the site. This costs $9.95 for 6 months worth of...

I just wrote a post about this on Geek Estate and would love some feedback from real estate pros regarding how they go about helping home buyers research the areas they are interested in with content on your website. Here is the blog post -- any feedback would be appreciated (either here or as comments on the blog).

I answered a question, then thought I was editing my answer and it came up as another answer. I did this twice, so now there are 3 answers. How do I delete the two and how do I edit my answers?

You can try to use Zillow for comps as a start, but they will not win your tax appeal completely. Successful appeals happen when the purchase price or appraised value is lower than the assessed value. You must prove that the taxes are based on a value that is too high to win the appeal. You can use the comp list from your area and select houses like yours that sold to try to make a case for the ...

Matt- Thank you for using Zillow Advice, but I believe there is some confusion as to how it should be used. Advcie is a forum, not a blogging platform. It should be used to ask and answer questions, and having conversations with others. Please refrain from posting flat out advertisements here in the future, doing so is against our terms of usage and will get deleted. Furthermore, we have a ...

2009 was my year of getting into the social media.....so no actual results as yet. I created a blog, got on Facebook, Twitter, Active Rain, Linked In, etc. I feel like I am getting more exposure and am working on the quality versus quantity at the moment.
