You can stop alot of these "jerks" by eliminating the API system DavidG. If you need some sort of revenue stream from us then please let us know. These nationwide guys not paying attention are ruining your site.

Seck...I think you are in between a rock and a hard place on this one. In a previous thread, didn't you say this house would appraise for over $800k after settlement. Don't you think they know that. I see the argument of getting the house off the books as soon as possible but $50k is a lot monthly interest payments for the house to sit there and sell for 775k 5-6 months from now.

Are 15 year loans at 4.5% yet? Bond yields are way lower, how about mortgage rates?

Clayton, there's soon to be a new sherrif in town, and that 2 year cap gains window on owner occupied residences may open up wider. It's not uncommon for changes to be made retroactive when they are looking for money on DC.

Credit Repair has gotten a really bad name. My wife works with me in my office and has worked for Lexington Law and Credit Unlimited for years now helping people fix their credit. I have refered her clients and have seen the scores go up in almost every case. Its not an overnight thing...it can take 6 months to a year. And thousands for dollars....no way. Its $64.90 per month and that...

Those 3% rates that Toll and Hovnanian want from the government are a JOKE. As i've explained on other threads, i'm in situation with Toll right now where I had a commitment for 95% back in May when it was widely available, and now in November I can barely get 85% when the bank at 95% backed out. On a $734k purchse, you would think they would work with me in order to get the deal done and $...

Anyone else besides me receive an SPAM email from a fellow Zillow lender (who I will not name out of kindness). I can't help but believe that my info was obtained by this lender from Zillow. Anyone else have a problem with this besides me?

I was reading the latest casualty list of mortgage companies and it struck me that the names are very ironic. It seemed that the more REGAL the Nameplate, the worse the offender actually was.. I will name a few, but feel free to help me with the comedy of errors here.. Family First Mortgage.. Shouldn't it really be named: ME FIRST MORTGAGE? 1st CHOICE FINANCIAL: Obviously it should not...

link ZMM - please note that although the summary page shows 7 responses made, only 5 are on the first page (the new default?) and if you go to the 2nd page, it says no responses.

I continually see 95 LTV conforming loan quotes in MA and RI. These are declining markets with max LTV of 90%. Can someone either confirm or correct me?

Forum First, thank you for taking the time to read / and or respond to my thread. I have been in this business a long time, and have always been able to pretty much follow or know from educated experience where rates are heading by following the Bond markets. I watch the Treasury markets very religiously which has always in the past been a key indicator of where rates are heading. Yet,...

To Zillow, Your inability to control the non-responsive and/or inaccurate mortgage quotes is not helping your reputation. The concerns with your "Zestimate" have already been well documented. Personally, I understand what they are and don't have the issues many others have expressed. However, even though this issue is readily (and well) explained, it becomes more of a liability when ...

We used to be able to do it through our own companies. No longer the case. And, anyone in the mortgage business cannot get a stated income loan right now.

It seems that the lenders are willing to work with those that can't make their payments but not those that are, although just barely. I spoke to Hope Now and they told me that my income justifies my payment even though I barely get by. They will just tell me to cut out the dry cleaning and to drop my gym membership, etc., to cut costs. Has anyone had any experience with getting loan ...

We are looking to buy pretty soon, so we are starting the pr-approval process. I knew we wouldnt get the best rates since we are first time buyers, but can someone explain to me the benifit to me of getting an FHA loan. I know 'what' it is, but I have great credit (705-725ish) and about 30k down (15-20%). When I do the thing on zillow, I get tons of numbers for conventional loans, but any time ...
