Sunday, November 8, 2009 Deadlifts 5x45, 5x135, 5x185, 3x225, 3x275, 1x315, 1x365, 1x405, 12x335 Pull Ups BWx2, BW+25x2, BW+35x2, BW+45x2, BW+55x1 DB Side Bends 10x60 Seated Calf Raises 3x10 @ 2plates Hammer Curls 10x40 Notes: The set of deadlifts was pretty intense. I went kind of tired and it didn't help. Surprised to get some of the pull ups with such ease, wanted to go heavier on them. Good day overall.

As I did a small conditioning routine yesterday I wanted to try something today. It turned out I enjoyed this more that the multiple pushup set routine. So maybe I should just stick to the same format, with the coming 2 weeks in the weekends 3 workouts to be done and the fourth on wednessday. So twice conditioning and twice the TGU like the program minimum. Here is what I did today: - 20-12-8 ppu pushups supersetted with - 1/1 - 2/2 - 3/3...

Those 20 rep shrugs i bet you feel more than u ever did doing sets of 6. They work man. It's a suggestion from Big Clay tod o higher reps on them with lighter weight. I usually do 1 set of 30, at least that's hwat i been doing the last month. After one set of 30 for as heavy as i can get (300lbs), my traps are fried. __________________ "If you are genetically pre-desposed to having that "gap" as you call...

So I had a great idea to combine 2 wod's today. It 104 outside and I wanted to run in the gym,and get caught up. Not my best idea... Here is what I planned to do.

95 pound Squat cleans: 10 reps
Dips: 10 reps
This would cover the 5k run and cleans and dips for 20 mins.

Glad to hear that with all the insanity that you still found time to hit the gym. How are classes going?

Today I dusted off the workout journal and began with some upper body exercises:
Exercise
Push-Ups: 1x6
Incline Push-Ups(feet on edge of bed): 3x10
Concentration Curls:
15lbs. 2x8 for each bicep.
Nothing heavy for the first day, still getting everything in order a step at a time. Muscle recovery will be slow so not doing many sets, will work my way up to more sets and ...

If you are going back to AD for cutting, remember that on your "cheat" weekends, it's not an all out gluttony session. Keep your calories consistant. Stick with somewhere between ...

That sounds like a great start. Just tracking your calories can be a really eye opening experience.
HIIT is tough stuff. Keep it up.
