Time for experiment phase 2. Go the same time doing the same activities WITHOUT the glucosamine. If they still don't hurt then you don't need it. If they start...you need it. Isn't experimenting fun? Enjoy.

I am a 53 year old middle-age man whose knees are starting to talk to me as a result of years of training I have done. The karate, longer distance running and more recently sprinting, plyometrics, higher volume bodyweight stuff, and now the Olympic lift training along with aging are the culprits. I'm not in major pain by any stretch of the imagination, but I do have some days in which I am ...

I've tried numorous times and cannot stick to using creatine for more than a few days. It does not dissolve so clumps to the bottom of every protein shake, it tastes horrendously, feels like swallowing sand, loading is a nuisance and I've decided I don't want to use it anymore ... not in the powder form at least. From what I've read previously, the powder is the most effective as in it's the...

Does anyone know if this actually works? Anyone had any results? I've been wanting to try it but always skeptical about fat burners.

L-Carnitine increases the use of fat as an energy source while also helping to protect against muscle and liver diseases. L-Carnitine is a vitamin-like nutrient that occurs naturally in the body. L-Carnitine is made naturally in the body from the amino acids methionine and lysine, and also sold as a nutritional supplement. For more information : Eastherb.com

It gets some good user reviews. Having never used it I cannot pass much comment but what I would be interested in is some actual evidence of its claims. What does 'works wonders for me' mean, what have been the tangible results and how can you prove it was lean muscle mass that was increased? I'm not having a go, the above is meant in the factual sense - some of the claims are pretty good, so...

I was looking at the FAST RECOVERY Post Work-Out Formula as a possible solution. I just want to make sure its the right mix for what Im doing. i.e. dextrose, maltrodextrin and protein in the proper amounts. I typically workout once in the morning and once ...

which amino acids would be seen as the most crucial to take for gaining muscle mass. Or rather then taking them individually, is it better to take those supplements that have them all mixed into one serving.
