Hi I have just taken my entire computer to bits & fitted them into a new tower. It boots up ok (from the sound of it?). But in the monitor it says no signal. There are no beeps. When I turn the computer on. The graphics card is lighting up & the fan is going on the graphics card. It’s got to be something silly Any advice please Regards Xwasp58

I have an older Motherboard that supports PCI Express x16, in SLI Format. I'd like to go from 2 cards to one, because I think it would be better peformance as some of the games I play, namely MMORPG's don't work well with SLI for some reason. Here's my question: If I buy a new video card that is PCI Express x16 2.0, will it work with my current motherboard? I've heard that the cards I want are...

I can barely see an image on my laptop screen. If hooked to another screen, it is fine. I was wondering if there is a button or something that was pushed that is causing the problem or is it the backlight (like I read on a prior post)?

I apologize for my lack of proper terms, but i recently installed a Visiontek HD 2400 pro vid card that has its own sound ability. The issue I am having is, I do not want to use that ability, I want to keep my onboard sound, but I cant seem to switch it back. Any ideas? I looked for a driver for the vid card sound but to no avail. My device manager is showing the two merged together so I cant ...

Hi, I just got an asus vw222u monitor and an asus en8400GS silent from your site. The computer is up and running. The video card and monitor display when using VGA. I've installed the drivers that came with the card and it shows up correctly in Win XP's device manager. When I plug in the DVI (and unplug the VGA cable)I get a "no signal" error and then nothing displays. I've pressed the off ...

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ I put in a K8M800 Micro AM2 motherboard. The rear sound jack (light green) does not produce any sound. The front jack works (light green). What can I do to test if the jack is bad. I don't want to have to replace the mother board because of the rear sound jack (light green) is not working? Puzzled and Waiting.

If the monitor displays correct colors when connected to another computer, then the problem is in the computer. It could be something set wrong in the display properties. Some video cards have color correction in part of the driver, which is accessible through display properties in the advanced sections. It could also be a defective or damaged video card. I've never heard of a virus which turns ...

Alright so one morning I woke up and tried to start my computer. It ended up not working to well so I did a hard shut down. When I started it back up again after the windows load bar it flashes BSD and then restarts. This happens in Safe Mode, Restore to Last Mode, And normal Mode. So I open her up and start going through all the connections making sure they're all going good. Try to go ...
