Just to defend Claudia for a second - I know as a viewer, I felt Brian's story of what happened was heading for a happy ending. He explained in detail the possible injuries Ali could have sustained (torn ligament, fractured bone), but finished off by proclaiming Ali has 'bruising of the bone.' Maybe Claudia latched onto the word 'brusing' and breathed a sigh of relief that it wasn't either of the other things...

CRICKETER Phil Tufnell seems to already be having second thoughts about Strictly Come Dancing - even though the show doesn't start for three weeks. Writing on his Twitter page, Tuffers, 43, said 10/1 odds on him winning were unrealistic. He moaned: "It should be at least 20. I have to wear high heels niiice. My God wot have I done? I'm bricking it, I'm going to need all ...

I'm not sure what is happening with all my favourite shows this week. The TV gods have it in for me I think. Both the charleston and 'rock and roll' are just horribly ugly dances. Awful. I don't want to see pros do them let alone celebs. Why TV gods? Why ???????????????

Now, what came first - the chicken or the egg? Do all these guests genuinely like Natalie and truly believe she can/will win because she's a great girl and her enthusiasm is infectious (and less irritating ) in the flesh? Or are they tiipped the wink to sell Natalie at every opportunity and only allowed on if they've signed on the dotted line that ...

Fantastic news - this means she's good to go for her athletic training Even better news would be if she can make it back on Saturday and dance again. I have no preference on either dance, they will have to take what they are given, but nonetheless, the fact that it's very possible they will be back is warming my cockles nicely...

Ricky handled it beautifully, letting Natalie down so slowly and gently, stretching his leg out gracefully as he did so. Couldn't see a problem with it. I'm getting a little tired of all the Ricky-bashing.

IMO - Ali comes across quite well i the training VT's and we (me and the OH) have frequently said - if some of the personaility from the training footage were to come across on a saturday night - then she would have it in the bag. As it is she comes across as a bit "something and nothing" on a saturday - she really needs to show the public her personality and...
