Its a tricky one right enough. People are often not very good about responding to people when they say they have depression. It could be that they don't understand but sometimes I think it can be because they are fearful. For family members especially there can be a fear that they will be blamed for it, may be even they realise that they bear some responsibility. Who knows. Bottom line its your choice how you deal with it, how you go...

It's the Cash Machine owners 'fault'. Natwest won't give you back money if the cash machine wasn't theirs without first getting it back from the cash machine owner.
Don't really know what else to suggest you could to tbh. Did you let anyone that works in the shop know that the cash machine was playing up? As they may be able to back up your claim....

Yes it is beatable, it will never be cured but it can be totally controlled.
You just have to take your meds(if prescribed) religiously and with that support to challenge yourself to do things that you felt incapable of doing before. Maybe they will also give you therapy for you to cope better. In time, things will get easier and your life will smile to you again....
