Thanks for checking the .png tagging, Joey! Glad to help. That would be a lot of lost time if you had to retag everything! ugh! Can't wait to see your lovely new pages in the gallery

Got mine Bamboo pen and touch from Amazon last week and love it. Takes getting used to because if using the pen your hand sometimes confuses it. But I love it. $85 at Amazon.

Thank you SO very much, Sara! The thought of re-tagging over 6000 digi goddies overwhelms me! Thank you for clarifying that I am saving my images AND tags! Whoohoo! I tested your theory on png files by deleting a png file from the organizer and then bringing in back into the organizer. No prompts popped up to tag w/ previous tags. I was prompted to tag with previous tags when I deleted & then replaced a jpeg image. Now that all my digi...

I just changed to a mac from a pc and I LOVE it so far. And Adobe just had photoshop elements 8 on sale for 49.99 or 59.99 I can't remember. But I bought it about a month ago for 99.99 so that's quite the bargin.

From PC to Mac
Published (2009-11-25 23:52:00)
I did the switch in july, initially frustrating, but now fine. I was very used to my digital organization with the organizer in PSE6 for the PC, the Mac version uses Bridge - which I do not find as easy to use. I put my photos in bridge and use iphoto for certain special projects. I did a lot of opening into camera raw from the oranizer, not so easy with a mac. I had to switch my entire digi stash organization to picasa from ACDSee, big...

I got the Bamboo Fun for Christmas last year and have never touched a regular mouse since. I go back and forth between the pen and the tablet mouse, but always find that I prefer the pen. It just depends on whether or not my son has confiscated the pen and hidden somewhere in my room. I think they're worth having, but it does take a little getting used to. For your daughter, if she's doing a lot of precision artwork, I think the pen...

Joey, I have 5.0, and have never tried to back up the whole thing. I only use for mine photos, and I back them up each time that I get 700 MB of new photos. I will be interested to see what answers that you receive for your question. I have never used the Organizer for my digital products, because someone told me that it would slow the system down. Do you find that to be true?

Hi! Unfortunately, you'll have to get the Mac version of PS. Some people have had good luck contacting Adobe and asking for the other platform free of charge. Hopefully, that is the case. Luckily, you WILL be able to access your digital stash on your hard drive just like you did on PC

I work exclusively with 24X12 layouts. I create a new 24X12 document (or for you, 16X8) and build my LO. I save it that way, and when I'm ready to print, I flatten the document, then choose the rectangular marquee tool, set it to a 12 in X 12 in box. I copy the left side of the document, then paste to a new 12X12 document, save as a JPEG, and repeat the process for the right side. I don't save ...

Here you go: 1. close PSE 2. copy the .asl file and paste it here: Start > Computer > Local Disk (C) > ProgramData > Adobe > Photoshop Elements > 7.0 > Photo Creations > layer styles 3. Open PSE. Access your style in the Effects Palette. Click on the Layer styles icon and select "show all" from the drop-down menu.
