Thanks, Kathleen. I recently quit my job (after working for 16 years). My son is a senior in high school and I am enjoying have more time to enjoy his senior year (and finish some projects at home)! LOL I am also spending WAY TOO MUCH TIME learning digital scrapbooking....but, it's so worth it. It's such a great way to keep everything in one place and beautifully organized. Thanks again for all the ideas and support!

Wow, Carol, I get the honor of being the first to welcome you!!
You've picked THE best digital site on the web. Kind of quiet this week as everyone prepares for the holidays but usually you can't shut us up. Lots of people on DSP are either former paper scrappers or are hybrid scrappers so you will get lots of support.
Speaking of support....have I got the forum thread for you!!!!...

When I back up my files, I just copy them to an external hard drive. I've always done it manually because my old computer didn't have an automated way of doing it. My new computer does have a backup program. I used it last week and it took FOREVER (a couple of hours, I think.) I'm thinking I'll give it one more try - maybe it took so long because it was cataloging everything or something - ...
