You already have a perfectly small dslr, and a nice lens with sufficient coverage for street, don't burden yourself with other stuff you don't need for street photography.
Bring anything bigger than that kit lens and you'll look like a papparazzi (did I spell that right), and people will either avoid you OR they'll ...

My Wallpaper worthy shot
Wallpapers are a different category of images. One could be a great photo but just would'nt work as a desktop backdrop. Theres just has to be a balance of interestingness and simplicity that should be in an image for it to be tolerable to look at everytime you boot up your computer.

Whatever you buy does not matter for as long as it will keep your gear fungus free. I have two bodies and four lenses. I use a tupperware resealable container and a rechargeable dessicant pack from Tayhua. I have to warn you though. The others will tell you to use the search function. But I won't. Hope this helps.

nice i was wondering yesterday why multiply pictures doesn't post, turns out the forums parses only valid extensions (like .jpg) not like the multiply direct links which have additional characters

You are basically paying for the capacity, speed and reliability;
Capacity determines how much data can you store on the card.
Speed determines how fast can the camera save the file to the card (very important if you are into sports and/or always uses burst)
Reliability. (will the card not fail during while using it on the field?)
