Combining three top-end cable modems here barely yields me 2.1mb. They're supposed to upgrade to 20 or 12/2mb in the first quarter...

Fantastic shots. I like the complete lack of floor. It looks like they are all walking on air. Are you laying on the ground to get those?

some great action. Nice colors and nice and sharp - the only shots that fall short of this are 3 & 4 - focus is just a bit off. As a collection they'd be much stronger without those 2 shots. The rest are fantastic stuff. Thanks for sharing!

The WB looks good on the skin tones, the bleachers, and the walls of the gym. You will not be able to get rid of the green being reflected on the white underside of the uniforms and socks as the reflected light is only transmitting the green wavelength. So they are being "lit" by the floor with a green reflection and what is shown is probably accurate.

Tim,
These shots are very good as usual! Nice catch or great timing on number 4, that looks like a 1 in a million shot.

Awesome in every regard. Amazing what great lighting can do to light up the hockey shots eh?

Some big names in Motosports were at that one if I am not mistaken. I loved the 3rd one! Looks like the landing could be a little rough. I also liked the other two with the Bully logo - kinda played well with the crowded track!
What lens did you use? Looked like you were a distance back - probably wise!LOL!!!

The last pic is the best. You've got some nice motion blur in it.

Depends an awful lot on where you are shooting from, how bad the lighting in the gym is, and how good the high-ISO performance on your camera is.
With my Canon 40D, I tend to shoot middle-school and youth basketball from the baseline right under the basket. I use a 24-70 f/2.8 + bounce flash off the ceiling. Remote strobes would be better, but I haven't made the plunge there yet...

Hello George
Good captures on 1, 3 and and 4. I'm not a fan of the backs on 2 and 5.
You have lots of good pictures on your website.

Three excellent shots! You captured the action and the facial expressions well.
I am impressed by the ISO 3200 shots. I would never have guessed that with the skin tones your shots display.

Looks like you had a good spot to shoot from. You must be kneeling or sitting. WB looks fine on my monitor. I like the first shot timing.
The second and third look like a " flagrant foul", which means intentional, maybe from behind. Foul shooter's team should have gotten the ball back after the free throws, too.
Nice job. Look forward to more from you this season.
