One long standing issue is how Tim Trow over-ruled the vets on medical issues, including euthanasia. They also had far more animals than they could hope to provide proper care for. Also, that cat in the trap was obviously struggling to get out and would have made some noise. You'd think someone might have heard it.

Selling a home / Contract law

The realtor would have no involvement with the financial side. If diagnosed with a terminal illness, not disclosing it on the appropriate paperwork (assuming a mortgage insurance is required) would be fraudulent and could result in major issues for the wife (future widow). As Hugh states, best to discuss with your lawyer, but AFAIK, as long as both names are on the purchase agreement, then there should be no issues as far as you are concerned.

Tiger Woods hurt in car accident

Pulling out of his driveway, "the vehicle lost control, striking a fire hydrant and then a tree". That is really weird. The fact that alcohol wasn't involved makes it even weirder.

Desktop PC in luggage to USA
Published (2009-11-20 16:15:00)
These recent suggestions are pretty good. A call to the airline wouldn't hurt, but I suspect that whoever I talk to will just check the same web info that I did. I think the main issue will be the security luggage scan. If they see a big metal box (can they see inside it?) they should ask me about it, which is fine as long as I'm not overly delayed, don't have to take the PC apart and re-pack it, etc. But I'm betting and...

Are you getting a flu shot??
I was wondering what others on the forum are planning this year regarding flu shots. My family has always had our shots and will definitely be getting the H1N1. I have been reading so many stories and rumors about the safety of the shots and can't believe the misinformation out there. From the ...

"It doesn't say where they would implant the chip."
Hopefully the chip goes somewhere where you won't even notice it after a while. For us married guys, that would be somewhere near the private parts....
I just hope the chip comes to market in a year or two.
If they have a chip that monitors Blood Glucose, they can't be too far away from
using it with an insulin pump. ...

Sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Throwing around lots of technical terms to make the average user believe it's actually doing something.
But hey, what do I now? I'm not selling a $1000 piece of equipment to alter things at a subatomic level.

Credit card scam - Beware!
I received a call from 905-345-4321 yesterday claiming to be the Visa legal department wanting to verify information. I said who are you as he did not identify my bank by name. Sorry, moving out is really your only option. I had a friend who moved out of a Town home due to similar neighbor issues. You just don't have any control over who lives beside you, and if you keep complaining, the neighbor is just as likely to get her back up against the wall (sorta speak) and make it worse.

While there's probably more to the story, my family's dealt with Manulife in the past and I honestly wouldn't put it past them to base it solely on a facebook picture. We had a hell of a time claiming benefits even without something like that in their hands.
