What is the latest on Nimiq 4? I thought it was suppose to be launched in the spring. My searching of this forum and the internet, only mention that. I can't find any news on it being launched or delayed. Does anyone know the latest on this satellite, and when BEV will be using it? Thanks.

On channel 230, it says that on Oct. 30 there will be a new channel lineup coming available (says in info of channel and press enter for more info). However, there is actually no information on the channel yet. Has anyone heard of a new lineup of might have any idea on what one might look like?

It will be interesting to see how many US customers Bell actually had when people start to cancel there account. I estimated a guess of about 8000 in the US which is equal to $5.3 milion per year of revenue. 8000 was just a guess at the number of US customers, it can be any number. I used an average monthly bill of say $56.00 per month. 8000 x 56= $448,000.00 per month x 12 months = $5,376...

I just received my letter from Bell regarding NHL Center Ice. The price is $199 for the season and the package still only includes 4 HD channels (866-869). I would like to see more dedicated HD channels. Anyway there is a new feature this year. Bell states the following in the letter: "Introducing NHL Online from Bell TV. New! NHL Online is included with your NHL Centre Ice subscription...

Yup Installed myself in April. Install went fine...Analog always works good and so does my HD programming. Just when it sprinkles or full on rains it goes down. Other than that I have strong signal....

New Channels always generate a lot of discussion so this thread is for discussing new channels in 2008. You're welcome to speculate and discuss new channels coming to ExpressVu in 2008 but PLEASE unless it's been confirmed by an official press release, be clear about what is speculation and what is fact. A post saying "a CSR said it was coming" is NOT official, however, it does put it in ...

Monday nights are the busy night for tv for me, and tonight I really noticed just how bad the so called HD is on Bell, or should we just call it HD Lite as that is all we are getting. Watching Heroes tonight and the HD feed only looked marginally better then the SD feed. The same observations were made for How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory on CBS. The NFL game also just looked ...

I'm currently on *choice in Calgary and not loving it so much and I'm considering the switch to BEV. One thing that I'm wondering...does BEV black out the Canucks games that are on SNETP (and occasionally on the alternate SNET HD channel) or do they do as *choice does and let you watch it all? My reasons for considering the switch are that *choice HD programming is lacking in comparison, they ...

very odd. My first guess would be bad connectors but you said you ran a new line. 2nd would be the lnb but you said you switched them. The only thing I can think of left is the dish somehow is misaligned now.
