From being a auto tech teacher I prefer the scan tools from OTC. Now MAC
tools sell their version, and Matco sells their version, but I like the OTC
style of scanners. Depending on your budget I would say this is the way to
go. I have a Taskmaster from MAC myself and it cost about 1400 dollars ,so
I chose that one . It does about everything you need for most of the time.A

I would try and get the specs on the cam shaft and a dyno sheet confirming that it was tuned right. Check if the car smokes or makes any wierd noises.
If I had money I would probally put all those mods on my car, minus the cold air and exhaust. I already have those.
Have you driven the car yet?

I tried to have mine re cleared it was in bad shape it didn't work so I had it painted to match the car. I'm happy with it that way. I seen one guy carbon fiber his I like that.

I don't know the story behind it but I seen a C5 for sale at Carlisle this
year with over 350,000 miles. They only wanted 10 grand for it. But that's
the highest I've seen.
