How to custom wire a wiper motor...

you might have a hard time finding an SPST normally closed (NC) relay. If that's the case, just get a SPDT relay and use the terminal that is normally closed. You can just leave the other terminal disconnected or cut it off or cap it or whatever you want to do. Some radio shacks have a decent selection of electronic components, others don't. Be sure to let us know how (or if ) it works

73 LS1 Vette Mecum Auction
Published (2009-12-29 14:12:00)
I think they did a great job. I do not understand the window buttons way up in front of the shifter though. I looked at that heater control and thought it was too big and clunky for the limited space available on a c3 custom dash. Great looking car though!

Published (2009-12-29 21:08:00)
I tore the engine down to swap heads and a cam and upon draining the oil I noted metal shavings. Pulled the engine/tranny out and several bearings are spun, crank needs to be turned, several piston rings are broken, and the block needs to be line bored. Nothing that can't be fixed but now contemplating going another route.... late model fuel injection engine. I could swap a ready to go built LT1 w/ LT4 Hot cam, harness and...

Air Cleaner Clock

Everyone needs to go and buy one of those expensive Movado watches that has just a diamond at the 12:00 position and a black dial. It's not all that hard to figure out roughly what time it is on a non-standard dial. I want to see someone do an engine block clock hanging on the wall. Rick B.

I'm also very interested in any advice. My project is not a Corvette but would also not be entirely down to bare metal everywhere. From my web research, POR15 requires a good, clean surface but not all areas need to be totally free of the prior paint/coating. My project would be the underbody of a '64 Plymouth.

I've wrestled with this several times. Powdercoating is, without a doubt, a superior way to protect your frame. However, in the event you need to modify your frame in any way it's virtually impossible to just touch up here and there with new powdercoat. POR gives you that ability, but is less durable, especially on smooth clean bare metal. If you can sandblast the whole frame to give it a ...

As long as I have been driving I have never put a name on any of my

still does not have a name.

It looks like TLD uses a vendor that makes either cutpile or loop for any year 68-82. You may want to check with them, their manufacturers website shows the same thing.

I don't believe that ebay does anything with money for anyone. Paypal is
the offical money transfer site for ebay. This seems like a scam to me.
Anyone near the car that can confirm it's a real car for you?

I would not use the second one in this photo, seems this design has been on alot of cars that have had engine fires. not sure if its the same brand or not.
I like the first one, it would definetly clear the hood.
the third one does not seem like it would provide good airflow, the last one seems to big for the hood

The front spindles are held in by the upper/lower ball joints. You need to review the procedure for removing the arms. Be careful the lower arm is loaded by the spring so you must be very careful unloading it. If you just want to remove the spindle you can support the lower arm but again that spring will come out fast if not supported.

while thats not what you want to have happen!
from a older guys perspective its about normal when you deal with less than skilled help!
its lucky that no one was seriously hurt and the damage can easily be repaired and it should NOT be repaired on your dime!
its only time and money, and while its your time the repairs should be covered....have a large brandy, and watch a good movie, ...
