Yes, if your camera uses
SD memory cards and you have an adapter. Faster memory cards are important if your picture taking includes large files, like long videos or RAW files. So if you're going to be using a micro SD card make sure that it reads at least 6mb/second (the faster the better).

Your 4GB cards should hold over 1,000 pictures. The only reason for getting a larger and faster card would be if you intend to take a lot of HD movies. A 4GB card will hold only 20 minutes of HD movies.
If you decide to buy a larger, faster card, consider an 8GB class 6
SDHC card from Transcend or SanDisk for good quality at a reasonable price. The Transcend is sold online for under $25....

I'm almost 100% certain that any card can keep up with a powershot A570IS. If you were using a Nikon D3 shooting at 9
frames per second, maybe not, but your powershot, you will be fine. Also, 8GB seems more than a bit excessive. Get the 4GB or go for a 2GB, which are dirt cheap, and more than likely more than enough.

Okay so i'm waiting on some money from student loans to get a Canon 50 D. And i'm getting the Canon EOS 16-35mm f/2.8 L USM Lens. Its an Ultra

I've read some good things about the Lowepro Rezo 110AW. Case Logic makes less expensive bags but they are still good. Don't buy the bags produced by Canon as there are lots of negative comments on the internet stating that Canon's bags are too tight-fitting.
As for rechargeable batteries, I'm a big fan of Sanyo Eneloops as they last a long time, have
plenty of power and don't run down ...

Güten Tag AtominoDigital,
Thanks for the feedback. I did manage to read some of the reviews which you recommended. Some of them were written in German but no worries. Actually, I wasn't aware that
Vivitar were still around. I thought they folded years ago. While Tamron & Sigma seem to have a lot of choices for owners of Nikon & Canon, the same may not be true for Pentax. My original question...

You already have the 18-55mm VR lens, which is a good
all purpose lens. Have you considered getting a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG APO Macro? It's a very fine long zoom lens for the money.
