Kid Won't Pledge Allegiance...
Published (2009-11-13 17:03:00)
Not for this kid, he has just embarked down a new path in life. Unless his parents move, this one little act of bravery will earn him years of ridicule and discrimination. Thats how kids are. Ever hear the Bob Seger song 'Against the Wind'? More power to him, he is going to need it.

President Obama bows to emperor...
Published (2009-11-15 00:00:00)
We've got along fine for 200+ years without a president bowing, you ask what is the big deal about bowing, I ask what is the big deal about NOT bowing? This is the core tenet of conservatism, keeping things in balance and not going up and changing ***** radically.

President Obama bows to emperor...
Published (2009-11-15 10:50:00)
A slight bow. Nothing more or less. This is really not a big issue, but the bow shows subservience, not equality. Normally I would say it is just a case of cultural ignorance, but since he has already made this mistake once or twice that becomes a bit of a hard sell. That said, it is still nothing in comparison to the wars that are still going on, the torturing, the spying, the patriot act, Fisa, and, and, and, and...

"So you have no problem with the US being a bunch of theocracies. Wonderful. To hell with what Thomas Jefferson said. " where did I say I am okay with theocracy? I said "because I don't think there should be any speparation of church or atheism and state." That is not a theocracy, a theocracy would ban anti-religious materials, I would embrace that civil liberty. I simply don't care if a judge puts...

really? so you agree that zach isn't very intelligent. thank you And I did not insult zach for sharing his point of view tyvm. I insulted zach because his point of view thinks that all humans being treated with equal measure is somehow wrong, and we should just "deal with it.". So, you went to the same school as zach eh pettdog78? EDIT: I noticed someone called him as ***** later on, yet you seemed to have ignored that...

Palin's Book Goes Rogue on...
Published (2009-11-15 17:57:00)
And you know precisely the extent and nature of the purported lies and you would personally state that these lies are accurately reported and are in fact lies other than he said, she said. Are the lies that you speak of as pernicious as the lies made up of the leftists who claimed Palin's husband's infidelities and her own proclivities toward such actions while forecasting their impending breakup? Not only was that lie not attacked...

More in U.S. Say Health Coverage...

A good point. Americans are raped nine ways to Sunday by corporations, but confusingly they unleash the brunt of their fury on the government. Very illogical.

Alot of people are saying children should be taught about homosexuality so that they consider just as normal as heterosexuality. I am adding that incest too needs to be normalized in the eyes of children. Any one who disagrees is a bigot! End the hate!

I wonder what the hell they do as well. The First Lady does at times act as sort of a figurehead, making appearances and such, so I can see some scheduling needed. I wonder if some of these are basically presidential aides who sometimes work with the First Lady.

It's sad that this many people believe that an entity other than themselves should take responsability for their lives. A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take everything you have.

Hey, Sarah! A primatologist and a baboon are walking down the street. They meet a second primatologist who says, "Hey, what are you doing with that ape?" The first primatologist says, "Excuse me, you should know a baboon is not an ape. He's a type of old world monkey." The second one says, "Yes, I know that, but I wasn't talking to you."

The politicians serve as fall guys to the corporate interests pulling the strings and setting the agenda in the shadows, a gateway to block the people of this nation from acknowledging and solving the heart of the problem--mega-corporations are the government--the cops are the crooks--corporatocracy, fascism, and democide.

huffingtonpost.com —
The Huffington Post has obtained internal McCain campaign emails -- addressed to and by the former vice presidential candidate -- that directly contradict or cast serious doubt on several of Palin's assertions. The emails were passed along by a mid-level staffer who called early excerpts of "Going Rogue", a serious mixing of truth and imagination."

Seriously, you are quoting Jesus. Are you suggesting that Jesus would not support providing health care for those who need it. You religious views are beyond delusional. If there was a heaven and hell I promise you that those who oppose reform would definitely be going to hell.

In a sense this is a shrewd move to try to influence a government body. In another sense, they're being horribly childish. I lean on the childishness.

Such a brave little boy... It is patriotic to dissent. It is honorable and dignified to stand up for what you believe. And it is brave to take responsibility for those beliefs.

You're right, the constitution doesn't say any of that. And neither does this bill. Try making a logical well thought out argument next time.
