its not just that, there are certain measures in place to artificially restrict the amount of votes from any one address over a certain period of time So having 20 threads voting twice a second is just adding to the server load and overall reducing the amount of votes he's getting, simply because other votes for Astley might not be
getting through due to all of the 503 errors that are resulting ...
