i) The IPCC has nothing to do with the CRU "scandal" ii) SO you want a review of the climate science by someone who is not a climate scientist? this makes sense to you ... how?

Why can't Greenfyre understand that this pathetic constant spamming of man-made global warming activist website links doesn't count as evidence of anything but the existence of man-made global warming activist websites?

No, the raw data has not been "cooked." Let me guess, you're going to claim that NASA is in on the conspiracy, too? I think your tinfoil hat is adjusted too tight. Leave science to those who understand it.

@drunkgeologist: From Ask.com: "Oil was formed from the remains of animals and plants that lived millions of years ago in a marine environment." Though not necessarily 'dinosaurs' but not explicitly excluding them either. Problem is that with the AGW fiasco most scientific findings (like Abiogenic oil) will have to be vetted over and over. The extent of the fraud in AGW is just staggering. Now we have to consider...

Johnnick, the notion that we should destroy the world's economy based on opinions of the "experts" is ludicrous. A scientist should not get any louder voice in determining policy than a plumber or garbage man. If the scientists think they have spotted a problem, then it is up to them to persuade us with the TRUTH. Hiding, destroying & tampering with data is NOT the way to do things. You warmers have been caught...

I generally agree with most of the posters that opine that solar panels are ugly--the "standard" ones are not as attractive as they could be. And while the translucent ones are (IMO) very attractive they're also VERY VERY expensive--and solar panels frankly aren't all that cheap to begin with. On the other hand, at least in Colorado homeowners don't have to fight their HOAs over this kind of nonsense. We passed...

@BullBearMS I spent a sizeable amount of time arguing the science with you and shot down all of your evidence and yet you still argue. Would you like to have another scientific discussion?

You have ignored the question repeatedly, you prefer to spew spam. I'm sorry but your spam "evidence" does more to convince me of the lack of credibility that the scientific community has on this issue than it does to convince me. There's simply no contradicting the fact that cloud cover reflects sunlight.

I don't want my car to blow up. I don't want to misfuel and have bad things happen to my car. I drive a 1996 Toyota Avalon, I can't afford a new car - please don't make things difficult for me. If this goes through and they do have the E15, will it be in separate pumps? Will it be well marked? I don't want to make mistakes when gassing my car early in the morning or late at night.

I think that's pretty much why only one company can do it, and all the rest would resist for fear of looking too similar. Colour is a defining feature of both Coca Cola and Pepsi, so only one company can afford to lose it and still maintain brand recognition. Yes, you could check for embossed logos and labels on the shelves, but I don't think the companies want to rely on something that subtle....

Double edge sword. Brazil have made massive strides to being eco-friendly and their carbon footprint per head of population is 1/8th of the US. The problem with this is most cars run on ethanol. If they get abundant cheap oil, then petrol is going to become cheaper, so why continue running ethanol? OTOH, the revenue from the oil would tackle the huge problems they have with poverty.

Years ago I watched a documentary on ice core sampling where they stated temperature changes have been long before human life on this planet, significant fluctuations happening in as short a time as 5 years which changed the environment. And it was commonplace throughout the time-line sampled. That documentary had nothing to do with "global warming" and I wondered how that fact - proven by ...

Guess who said these things: "He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future." "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it" "It is always more difficult to fight against faith than against knowledge." Guess who else said this: "Education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed." I'll leave you with ...
