They don't put all the money into the account in one fiscal year. It's a small percentage they put away every year. Like a savings account. Yes it has an affect on the fiscal year but a very very small one.

No, a gallon is exactly the same in every country in the world, and the testing process is exactly the same the world over as well. And in the real world I regularly got 70 mpg out of my first car 5 years ago, seriously, if america isnt rolling on the floor with laughter after viewing this piece of crap, it would seem to be fair to say that America is about 20 years behind the Europeans in terms of automotive technology. Its so awful I feel...

My 2008 Honda Fit (automatic sport) is rated at 33mpg highway but I routinely get 38mpg if I drive the speed limit and use cruise control. It's all in how you handle your vehicle.

sounds great, but we already know it works. now please just start cranking them out ASAP. and please crank out enough that there aren't ridiculous waiting lists and applications like with the EV1. and please SELL the car (and the whole car, not any BS leased batteries like Nissan.)

Not a fan of fuel cells. I feel like it just hooks us in to yet another network of fueling stations. And as of now...the energy required to extract the energy in the first place negates the gains.
