Don't use the diode mod with higher wattage bulbs!!! It can melt the connector, wiring and housing! My lights will light up the road signs 1 mile..not Hids and with factory '97 housings. I really don't care if anyone uses Hids I just like the truth to be told by those who push them..which they never do.

Static Electricity

Does anybody else have this problem? Every time I get out of the truck and close the door I get shocked from touching part of the metal panel. Im not too easily startled but this is getting annoying. Sometimes Im holding my 4 month old daughter and she gets shocked too, WTH? I have cloth seats, dont know if that has anything to do with it.

What sticks? I assume you have PMR's? IMO when I go to the expense of sticks I will be going 238 80% hybrids. They can be tuned down were even 20 mpg + is possible but will feed you up to 500 if you ahve the bottom end to handle it. In any case a 38R with added fuel will help clean it up, lower EGTs, and jump up HP. Do not forget you should do the supporting mods as well valve springs and push rods since you will be in there anyways. If...

Gears and rear lockers

I run ARB lockers front and rear on my jeep - strong and reliable. They are my only choice for lockers. I've run full detroits in my blazer - the ARB lockers are much more street friendly. Yukon gears have held up great for me in my jeep and old blazer. Easy to set up and quiet running.

I ran 8 ply Daytons on my 02 f-350 cc longbed, and hauled heavy loads and
towed a 18' horse trailer and also a 20 foot camper, and never noticed a
difference in either handling or performance, got the same mileage as 10
ply. I have 10 ply on now, only because this is all they had and I needed
tires badly. I did notice that with the 10 ply you can air up to 80 psi,
and 8 ply only 65 psi. I usually...

well, just from a geometry standpoint, if it moves the rear of the spring
pack downward then it will point your pinion upward. With a large enough
lift that will help. Does it include new shackles? The old ones were
designed to be in tension, not compression.

I've been happy with all the Yukon gears I have bought and setup. I've run the 4.30 gears, and stepped back down to 4.10 with 37" Toyos. RPMS where a little high for my taste. Keep in mind I have a 7.3L.
I have run ARB air lockers in other applications in the past. Just make sure you keep clean oil in them. A little dirt can destroy the seals FAST. VIAR is mounted underneath my truck and its ...

Several ways to skin a cat. Here's one:
PermaCool #13318 cooler with fan. Install it under the cab wherever it will fit. I has 3/8th inch fittings, which is the same as your tranny cooling lines, so it won't require too many brains to figure out how to mount it and hook it up under the truck. Note it's an "oil" cooler, and ATF is oil, so that's what you want.

The '08 rear bumper will bolt up to '99-07 like stock but the hole for the
spare winch will be on the wrong side, which is only important if you keep
your spare under the bed. Other than that no problems.

track bar drop bracket only. the geometry of the suspension only requires a track bar drop bracket to make the darg link and track bar parallel and to put both pieces back into the same travel arc. if it was a lift kit of 4
' or more a drop pitman arm would be required as well.

Bisteins are miserable
I put some Bisteins on my Ex a couple of months ago and they are very disappointing.
Any other suggestions?

Yes you can sir, in fact I just put a 6 inch on mine last night and put another 1 1/2 inches on it. Used the bottom two pieces out of a leveling kit on there and my u bolts from it. Works very well, of course then you'll have to do the back too.

I have the same problem in my 08 F250 PSD. Never had that problem in my 06 Titan or my 00 Frontier, and both trucks had cloth seats too. Flipping annoying. But I think that sliding in and out of the truck is what causes the problems. I notice that it happens more with me when I'm wearing jeans as opposed to slacks.

Lift, Tires, wheels for a 2002 F-350
I am hoping to finally get the opportunity to get some altitude for my truck and wanted some feedback. Here is my truck:
Suspension and tires completely stock.
My plan is a mild lift to fit some 33-35" tires on 20" wheels while still fitting in the garage. I love the MKW M19 wheels in a 20x9"...

Have seen a combination welder/generator which was belt driven mounted on a contractors truck (PS). The contractor had mounted it so was aftermarket. Worked well for welding don't know about the generator part. No idea where it was purchased but they were electrical contractors installing generators and associated systems.
I use a 400W invertor with which i can run an impact wrench and have also...
