With this pregnancy, DH noticed before me. He actually asked me if I was pregnant almost a week before I got my positive! I'm apparently very moody from the beginning

Oh the joys of pregnancy!!! I swelled up soooo bad with ODS. I worked on my feet all day and by the end of the day I was driving home barefoot because my shoes didn't fit! Elevate your feet (feet above your heart) and place ice packs or something cold on them. Cold flushes all the swelling away. Also make sure your drinking a TON of water. The more water in your system the less swelling! And compression socks help too!

Re: Correlation between pregnancy sex drive and gender? My dh said that with the boys (my oldest is a girl, the next two are boys) I have had no sex drive. He's calling that this pregnancy is a boy as well for that very reason. I told him I've had no sex drive with number #2, #3, and now #4 because I'm TIRED and don't think it has anything to do with the gender of the baby, LOL I think this baby is a girl, heehee...

Early Placental Bleeding
Published (2009-11-27 11:18:00)
Early Placental Bleeding My sister is 10 weeks pregnant - due in June. From her first u/s at before 6 weeks there has been bleeding behind part of her placenta. She had one bleeding spell at about 6 weeks. She has had two more u/s since then. Both showed some bleeding (baby looks great). Yesterday morning she woke up after a bunch of cramping with bleeding and clotting. BIL took her to the ER. Baby looks great, but the anterior side of the...

My feet were HORRIBLE in the evenings from about 7 months on. DH would get
a cold rag and drape it over my elevated feet, and that helped some.

Re: So what is Hypnobabies?
I didn't do Hypnobabies, but I did do Hypnobirthing (they are a little different) and it helped tons! Between that and the birthing tub they had at the hospital, I sailed through 24 hours of active labor without meds (I ended up with an epidural at the 25 hour mark for medical reasons though. Boo.). Not saying ...

Re: How early can you see signs?
I have it marked down (and remember very well) that at 2 days past ovulation (that would be 10 days before my missed period according to my normal luteal phase/cycle) my boobs grew tremendously. I'm talking won't-fit-in-my-bra kind of growing! I knew then that I was prego...

Breech baby
We just found out our baby is breech. Is there a good way for me to get this baby to be head down?
the ultra sound said the baby was about 26 weeks along, but we thing the baby is more like 24 weeks along, so i know we have some time, I just wish this baby was head down.

Girl or no?
I am posting two pics here. One is of my current pregnancy. The other is of my 2 year-old DS that was misidentified during our ultrasound as a girl. They say my current pregnancy is a girl but I'm afraid to commit. Take a peak at these two and let me know which one you think is a girl. Thanks!

TTC is not always an easy journey. And, many times, people facing this journey do not receive the love and support they need to go through it. Now, we have a special place of our own where we can share our frustrations, laughs, and sadness without holding back.
Please, feel free to take a few minutes to introduce yourselves either for the first time, or again.

It varied with each pregnancy. I think the earliest I noticed them was
around 15 weeks with my 4th baby. But I didn't have them until well into
the 3rd tri with my 5th, so I don't believe it had anything to do with
pregnancy number!

Mama, Honestly, at 37 weeks a glass of wine is NOT going to hurt you or your baby!! All development is done. Enjoy it and don't feel guilty for it!!

Re: 19wk US showed cyst??? Should I freak???
My SIL's 20 week showed a cyst on the heart. Same thing, dr. said it was completely harmless but that they are often a soft marker for Downs.
My niece was born 19 weeks later-happy and healthy! Sorry you're going through this. I'm sure everything will be fine!...
