I don't think I stayed with my mom in services until I was 9 or 10 and able to sit still and easily read from the bible and we will probably do the same with our kids. It was still only an occasional occurrence until I was in jr. high.

Heck yeah I would!
Okay, to be fair, it does matter where, who, etc. I would make sure that multiple knew exactly where I was and what time I should be home. I wouldn't drink (not alone) and I would be careful who I spoke with.
But as a whole, yes, I would go....

Heck yes! My hubby's best friend is a SAHD and has been for 13 years. He runs the Nebraska SAHD group. He homeschools and does a fabu job. They have 3 kids, 2 boys & a girl. He also runs alot of kid's sport leaugues like swimming & soccer & baseball. He is the most involved caring parent, yes PARENT, I know.
It is a double standard to think a guy can't watch kids in a safe positive manner.

If there's someone that had totally offended me or something I'd just put them on my ignore list. So far, there's no one that's affected me that much.
I do recognize other frequent posters on here cause I, too, am on a lot. Sometimes I just recognize them from their avi though, not what they've said in another post unless it was something that really hit home to me personally.

If the invitation didn't include the children specifically or said & family on it, I would assume children are NOT invited, I wouldn't even ask about it.
