Don't have any advise about housing...sorry... Just wanted to say that we are in Spfld. DH is in the Army NG and based out of Columbus. We live in sprfld b/c that's where my family is. When are you headed this way?

Its north of Ft Bliss, maybe 40 min? I don't know how much you like being in the city vs. middle of nowhere, but its got like nothin. If your DH will deal with the drive I'd live in the Northeast El Paso, that way you're close to... something at least! Or Alamogordo, NM (Holloman AFB) or Las Cruces, NM. El Paso is the biggest. Also, I'm not sure what kind of selection the commissary & PX have.

When I had DD I would have been able to deny Hep B, eye drops, and Vit K
with standard exemption forms (they covered this in the class). The other
stuff I don't know. I know that PKU is generally required by the state so
you might want to check with them or ask at your next appointment. I don't
think DD ever got blood sugar testing, but she was at a different hospital
so I don't know.

I had one of those panic attacks this weekend, so you are not alone. I mostly have them when my dh gone though. And they are getting worse. I have been getting very overwhelmed. I think mine is related to just being in the house all the time (I worked out of the home until this year when lo#4 was born). Thanks to the US Marine Corps, my Navy DH will be spending a lovely all expenses paid "vacation" in beautiful Halmund Province starting just after the New Year, not returning until much later in the year. Thanks for the notice of orders on Veteran's Day .....So, just as I suspected, yet again pregnancy = deployment in our home . My beautiful DD and I will be welcoming her new sibling together...
