((((HUGS!)))) So sorry for your loss.
I taught myself to knit using " Good Housekeeping: The Illustrated Book of Needlecrafts" -- I knit English style, I just held the yarn however it was most comfortable. Knittinghelp.com is very helpful and contains detailed videos of stitches in both styles. I didn't have any classes available in my area, but I think they could be very beneficial.

Only on Wazoodle, they are the makers of it. But if you look on the craft supplies board sometimes people sell it on there.

You are correct, the fleece and/or double sided terry are the most absorbent. All of the bamboo inserts I have gotten have been 3 layers of bamboo fleece and 1 layer of terry, don't know why though.

Ooh a new thread. I guess I'll go first -
These are for EricasMom. They're already on the way to her, I just haven't had a chance to post them between my LO's being sick and all of the Halloween Excitement. I had to use DH's camera for this and it's much fancier than mine, so I hope the pics are ok.

Re: Oct. 28-Nov. 4 Home sewn diaper thread
Where do you buy zorb? Is it pretty fast at drying? What are the pros and cons? I'm getting tired of trying to use Jersey knit, even though it's cheap and plenty absorbent for at home.

Who? me? naaaaaaaaaaaah.
I have one of those zippered plastic things comforters come in that I keep them in. I'm trying REALLY hard to only save things that are at least big enough for mama cloth, but I still never use them.

I can do English, Continental, and Combination. I choose to do Continental usually. ALthough, I've been thinking of learning to knit opposite handed to eliminate the need to purl. LOL.

Yay! Thank you! I love spinning but know sooooo little about it. I've been spinning for about 2 months.
Wheel or spindle both? I use a top whorl spindle. It is certainly nothing fancy, just hardware store stuff! However, I love love love spinning on it!
What do you like to spin fiber wise? I haven't been spinning that long so I am learning the ropes. Romney is super easy to get even and ...
